What's the next (or first) ink you want to get?

An army vet I know of the Iraqi war has the Arabic symbol for Infidel tattooed on his left forearm. I had to shake his hand for that one.

My father-in-law is a pastor, and before my wedding we ended up on the topic of tattoos. When he asked my best man if he had any, or every thought of getting one, he said "Well, it would have to be something that I will always like, and will always look the good no matter how old I get. I have come to the conclusion, if I ever get a tattoo, it will be a potato. I am pretty sure they will always be delicious, and no matter how wrinkly or liver spotted my skin gets, it will still look like a potato." I think a potato is a great first tattoo; the logic is sound.

Well I got my first one a few days ago, but I had always planned on getting 2 right off the bat. My next one will be 3.3.03, probably on my wrist but I'm playing with the idea of another spot. It's the date I was diagnosed with diabetes and I've wanted it since high school so I figured now that I'm a total tat pimp, I should get it soon. I also want a fish outline on the arch of my foot, but I'm a little worried about putting one where it will rub off so easily.

I have old english on my tricep, a quote in large letters shoulder blade to shoulder blade on my upper back and a large cross on my right arm. I am going to turn the cross tattoo into a half sleeve and in the sleeve there will be a snake incorporated since they have always been my favorite animal and hobby (obviously).

This was the last one I got. A Norse Valkyrie on my left calf. It was done in December of 2011. Extremely pleased with the amount of detail and how well it turned out. I was only under the gun for about 2.5 hours for this one. Valkyries were the ones who decided which heroes of the battlefield would be taken to Valhalla to fight for Odin in the last battle. Got it to remind me that no matter how hard life becomes, you must always give your all, because you never know who might be watching/judging.

I am thinking of going back to the same artist to start a Norse themed sleeve. Being of Scandinavian descent, I have always been interested in Norse mythology.

I also have the Norse word for 'father' tattooed on the back side of my right arm for my dad who passed away when I was 12.

I'm in the same boat: almost there but yet so far away....it would be long done if I didn't have another expensive hobby *cough*snakes*

Need inner arm done, more shading/highlighting/line detail around the shoulder and elbow/middle arm section, and I'd like more added to the inner forearm. My boyfriend Dustin has been giving me workout tips for my arms: I'm hoping a toned arm will further enhance the tattoo! lol

Umm... a naked guy. A male adult human that is pleasing to my eye in build and looks, naked. I've seen plenty of naked women tattoos, plenty of naked male demons and exaggerated physical attributes on mythical male figures, but I want a nice looking naked regular guy.

In fact, I had a piece of art made for it, and took it to a tattoo artist. He looked it over and then asked if I "really wanted him to be 'excited' that way in the picture." I looked him in the eye and told him if he tattooed a guy with it "not excited" on me, I would beat him with a stick. He admitted he hadn't thought of it that way.

And if in my 'old age' I decided a naked guy was inappropriate, it's easily fixed. Tattoo some black shorts on him. Problem solved.

But I think the weedy sea dragon will be more spectacular.
