This is my latest tattoo (got it done 2-9-13 and it took about 3 hours)

This was my dogs actual paw print.
His death was the hardest thing I've ever gone through, he was my baby

Up to 6 tats as of last month, about 12 ear piercings, tongue and lip. Unfortunately I had to take my lip ring out in my quest for a 'real' job and I miss it terribly!!

    So far I have...

14ga double labrets (spider bites, basically snake bites on the same side of my mouth)
    18ga nostril
    12ga earlobes
    Tragus
    Cartilage

I used to have a horizontal eyebrow, but a few weeks ago, I got it caught on something and it started rejecting :( I knew when I got it that it was a matter of WHEN it rejected rather then IF it rejected, but I was hoping it lasted a bit longer. I'm going to let it heal and re-establish it at some point, because I ended up really liking it :)

No tattoos yet, but I have several planned out :) I should be getting my first this summer :D

My spider bites and nostril piercing... this is right after I had my eyebrow taken out so I was mourning the loss haha. I'm still not used to it not being there yet :(

And my tragus, ignore the swelling, I took this righttt after I got pierced in March :) I had been bracing myself for a lot of 'ouchie', but it ended up being the least painful piercing I've gotten! He was like, 'Okay, needles in, now I'm putting in the jewerly.' and I was like 'That was it? Really?" I've heard tragus can be REALLY painful for how thick the cartilage is- I know my mom's was uncomfortable for her- but IDK D: the spiderbites were way worse on the pain scale.

Was it done with a curved bar or a surface bar?

I believe it was a curved bar, but I'm not a 100% sure, but it wasn't much of a curve if it was. It was honestly fine for months, it was only when I snagged it on something (I have nightmares and I woke up violently and snagged the jewelry on my quilt) that it started rejecting.

Find a piercer that will do it with a surface bar. It's a surface piercing and will heal better with proper jewelry. If you let me know where you are I can make a recommendation on a good piercer. I've been a piercer since 2000 :)
