I've produced those for years too, sometimes the whole snake is in that pattern. I really like my CalKings and they keep surprising me with new patterns.

Folks - treading close to advertising - please take to PM!

That said - I love that dalmation looking b/w one on the right - is that an inkdrop, or do you call it something else?

    Awesome clutch Wes!

Bottom right in the group shot is an InkDrop. There was also a set of twins, InkDrops. Twinning is not very common, in my experience, with CalKings.

The other clutch just finished hatching out and there are a couple of really neat ones in there. One with a pattern I've never seen before.

In The Day it was hundreds or more. Now a few dozen at a time. I've got about 40 more cooking and there should be some neat coastal stuff in those eggs.

Can we see the one with pattern you've never seen before?

I've got the picture, just haven't gotten time to post it up. It's still in the camera.

There is an interesting development though. I bred the original male to produce InkDrops to a female coastal he's never been bred to. In that clutch are at least 2 more of these never before, to my knowledge, seen morphs. I'm off to rodent land right now, but tonight I'll get pics up. They're pretty cool.
