Yes. My first thought. Rule out impaction. If its not impacted, your vet MUST do a PCR test for crypto. Might as well rule that out right off the bat. Or try to, anyways. I believe you need 5 negative tests to be declared crypto free.

Is he a herp vet?

Ok good. Did he mention anything about crypto? It causes the walls of the stomach to become inflamed and it looks just like that.
Not trying to scare you, it's just that I've come across an alarming amount of snake breeders lately who have no idea what crypto is, or have never even heard of crypto, or how it can completely devastate an entire collection.

Can you educate me? He said something about crypto but I can't really remember what. I was a bit panicked. Is it contagious?
-
Yes it is incredibly contagious. That snake needs to be quarantined, preferably in a separate house if at all possible until you can rule it out completely. Do not buy or sell anything until you are certain it is not crypto. It really can and will wipe out entire collections.
It can also be completely asymptomatic so if you have a snake not displaying symptoms, but carrying it, and then you sell that snake, you could be infecting someone else's collection. If the vet mentioned crypto, that is a good thing because it means they might actually know what they're talking about.
Pretty much read everything here:

Honestly if the vet had even the slightest suspicion of crypto, I don't have any idea why he would mess around with oil.
The snake should be tested for crypto right away.
Have you brought in any new additions lately? Is that particular snake a new addition? Has that snake been in contact with any other snakes? (Same cage? Even for just one minute?) Do you have or breed colubrids? have any of your other snakes had any weird symptoms, such as regurgitation, refusal to feed, weight loss, or really runny poos with not much solid matter?

Here are some threads outlining one corn snake breeders fight with crypto. Even if your snake does indeed just have some sort of blockage, I think a lot of people simply have no idea what crypto is. So I will post these here for anybody's future reference:

Help! Urgent..
I haven't brought any new snakes in. The poo came out and she had a quite a long fart and looks normal again. He was talking about the tests for crypto so I asked an he tested for it three times
I do not keep or breed any colubrids.
I have never heard of it before. I'm really glad you brought this to my attention. Is there anyway to help prevent it? Or cure it? Or are you screwed if you get it
