I didn't realize it was so serious. It's really too bad, I guess we'll just have to wait and see....I'm worried! It's such a great sport, much better than football, wish more people would give it a chance and realize that!

Ahhh....me to. All my rough and tuff guy friends love football and I tell them then they would love hockey and their response is they can't follow the puck.
I admit it takes a couple of games to learn how, when and where to look and what sounds to listen for but it ain't rocket science.
I am a hockey freak as you can tell by my sigs at bottom of the posts and this whole maybe no hockey next year has me bummed out:(
Have you seen the movie "Miracle"? awesome movie even if your not into hockey.

Not yet, but I'm buying it this weekend for Mark (well, and me too!). His b-day is Monday. He'll be in Buffalo for a few days, so we won't celebrate until he gets back--which means we probably won't watch the movie until next weekend.

IMHO, Hockey is a much more rough and tumble sport and takes more skill than football...I agree it's sometimes hard to follow the puck b/c it's such a fast paced game. I guess I take it for granted growing up watching it I have little problem following, but
sometimes I do lose track of the puck and even miss goals that happened right in front of my eyes!!

Crossing my fingers that the NHL will be around for some time to come....
