I could go either way; There aren't many snakes that sport that brilliant green/blue color like the GTP or ETB, yet at the same time the fact that it's NOT a full-white snake like a lot of BEL's is impressive. In the picture of its back it was like a silver color!

I think though that (ignoring prices) the only way I would own one is if someone said "here, have this snake". If I went out to to buy one, I too would probably go for the high-turquoise. 'Cause I mean, how many BLUE snakes are there?! :D

I am no expert on them as I do not own any but from what I have seen, and friends of mine that own them, majority if Canary Kofiaus will stay yellow or be very high yellow, the best way is to purchase from a breeder based on the lineage of the parents. Take a look at the parents to see what they look like. An all-yellow sire and damn are more likely to produce the same all yellow offspring. Usually they run about $1500 as hatchlings. Of course, as any chondro, a Kofiau always has the potential to turn green (but the ones I have seen turn "green" are usually a light lime green mixed with yellow, stunning really). That's the fun with chondros, they are a box of chocolates and watching them morphs is part of the magic!
