Very good and encouraging news, indeed!! Thanks for keeping us updated. I'll bet when we see new pics soon, we'll hardly recognize the little fella!

    Well, here are some pictures..

Here is the pic we took the day we got him showing the burns..

Here are two after his shed......Nice and pretty....Cant see the burns anymore, though a little rough to the touch.

Here he is in his new dud's after shed. You can see the black scar on his back.

All in all, I'd say it was a good day for the both of us.

I do see some little puckers remaining, and those may go away after his next shed, but BOY does he look better. Good work, y'all. I'm pleased for you. And congrats on the eating. Now he's yours for life. :)

Its AMAZING how much better he looks.. I'm disconfuggled. I'm glad that he's so much better but it just amazes me how much a few days of GOOD TLC and a shed can do for him. Then when we fed him it tripped me out. I swear it was like by the time his mouth shut on the mouse his body was coiled around it at the SAME TIME. I've NEVER seen anything but a baby corn snake strike THAT fast. It was just a blur.

Sprocket strikes pretty fast for being a bigger snake, but my old (now led4urhead's) BP never struck that fast.

I'm just baffled :) lol its so cool seeing animals recouperate in ur care :)

WOW, that is a BIG difference between the two pics! I am so happy to see that all that horrible burned stuff is gone. i really believe that you saved that snake's life.
