Well, it certainly can be a provacative subject, and hopefully one that won't get started here. If I wanted to argue the merits of my religion, there are plenty of other places I could go to do so. I don't want to see the peace of our forums disrupted by such an argument. Hopefully though, we're all grown up enough to mention the word "Christianity" and not have it turn into some free-for-all brawl about who's right and who's wrong.

lol Judy I'm right there with you!

Justin, I'm with you. Politics and religion have a lot of potential for turning civil situations into free-for-alls, and I'd hate to see that happen here. There are other places that are really good for getting into that sort of debate. I am 100% certain hat I will not see eye to eye with everyone here on politics, religion, priorities, and "the way things ought to be," so I just avoid it here where it doesn't seem appropriate.

And this all began by molesting a ball python. :)

Well i do have a sense of humor and sorry i misunderstood yours. As far as my avatar i didn't like the low quality pics of sage i was using so i used the first one that seemed funny from deviant art seriously its alright but I'm not rolling on the floor when i get some good pics of Schurke i will use that i love his pattern sorry if it offended anyone i am Christian too but i don't practice it that much so I'm a little lax on the subject.

lol!
I think that, online, it is often hard to tell whether someone says something in jest, or they're serious about it. When you're talking face to face, you can see a person's subtle signs of joking, like a smirk, or a giggle. But online you have just words.
...Funny hijacked thread we have here. :)
I think:
Talking about BPs, pets in general, experiences with them= good
Talking politics, religion, and our opinions on Michael Jackson = bad
:D

Jesus walks into a motel, throws three nails on the desk & says to the inn keeper, can you put me up for the nite??
This is really not the time nor the place, IMHO, to be taking discussions on politics or religion seriously. We are here for our common love of reptiles & we have a wonderfully peaceful co-existence. Like Jonah said in his 5am hippy post a while back, the beauty of what we have here is that regardless of our religious beliefs, political views or any of the other things we may disagree on in life, we are all good to each other, we all help each other & we all support each other on the basis of our love for herps. I'm a registered republican with a moderate point of view that is slightly scewed to the conservative side. I am also a Christian that has a wonderful relationship with God. Though I don't think politics & religion should be taken so seriously on this board, like Judy said, that is no reason to try to pretend that you are not Christian or Republican or anything else. That is not what we are here about, we are here to chat about the one thing we all DEFINATELY have in common, herps! :D
