LOL. I hope you don't, and you can certainly call me if it looks like you're getting lost.

Here's the issue. Should I drive 13hours and spend well over a 100 dollars in gas and food and a possible stay over when I can get a BCI localy for 70 bucks? I will be honest Marla. I'm not too thrilled with the fact that they've been fed live jumbo rats! Even though closely supervised, all it takes is that one time to do some serious damage. One will not be quick enough to prevent that. But of course you know this much better than I do. I've thought about this a lot and the largest snake of any kind I can house is probabaly five to six feet. This is cause I live alone and do not want to handle a Large Femal by myself. Given they are legless puppy dogs, all it would take is a SFE on my part  What I'm trying to say is, I hate driving!

Raj, you certainly don't have to take her, but I wish you'd said something to begin with when I mentioned at the beginning that these snakes would have to be picked up in this area. I understand your concerns and would rather you backed out now than later, but it does still put me without a home for her.

If anyone else on the forum is interested in taking custody of a female Colombian red-tail that must be picked up in Atlanta or within a reasonable driving distance, please let me know ASAP.

I would really really love to take them both because i could breed them. But I really have no room for two right now.

Justin, I understand that. Maybe you could ask around, though, and see if you have a herp-knowledgeable friend who would be interested in her? Then breeding would still be an option for you.

Rusty, thanks. If I can't help Donald find a good home for her, I will definitely mention them.

OK, and if you don't take her Will is considering it I think. But he wants me to see her first, make sure she's got a good temperament.

So everyone, i am back from my trip to atlanta. I did end up taking both of the bcis, the female and male and they are now settling in. I will get pics as soon possible for you all. Thanks again marla, I really appreciate you taking your time today to help me. I haven't thought of any names because i don't think they had any before. if they did, i wasn't informed of them. So any ideas?
