She's pretty but I'd make sure she is actually a she and not a he. If the guy can't tell the difference between an enchi and a normal I'd second guess his ability to properly sex a ball python.

So with that being said. My opinion is at best, a Het Red Axanthic, poss het Pied.
Good Luck, you now have a Dinker to work with.

Het reds have a cinny sort of look to them. Dark blacks, bronzey yellow aliens and some flames coming up the side. Also the OP didn't say it was, it was brought up by someone else and immediately disproved. The OP seems to have sorted it out and now everyone is happy.

So the snake you showed us that is not an enchi and is not a yb is put with a pastel enchi and it looks good to you, but you decided on a cinny and the corns?

IMO whoever you are dealing with is scamming you, they obviously have no clue what they are doing if they told you that snake was a black back enchi yb het pied, which would be a fairly expensive morph.
That's awesome he tossed you a rheostat :rolleye2: maybe next time he offers you a snake that is what it's supposed to be?
I'd run hard and fast from whoever this person is...

Like I said none of you saw the snake in person. And if he was a bad guy he wouldn't have me to his house to fix it. I'm not posting his name to cause him grief from people who didn't see the snake. I will be doing more future business with hI'm. Just getting my enchi at the long island show is all

man even through pics people that deal with those morph recognize it even with crappy cell phone pics. even if he is a good guy you still doubted his word and went back to trade back for a cinnamon right.

I'm personally not interesting in knowing who this person is. The people I buy snakes from can normally tell the difference between a blackback, enchi, and yellowbelly, from a normal . The "PH" aka "possible het" is probably just another way to make the animal seem more valuable than it actually is... Kinda like people saying "eh.. the breeder said it was also possible het sunset!".. It happens very often. We're just trying to warn you about what kind of tactics people will use to sell you a normal as something else...

I'm glad you got yourself a new cinny, and I can tell you, it's definitely a cinnamon, but that shouldn't excuse the guy from not selling you an animal you expected. I don't have problems with people who make mistakes, but when someone lies to you, it should probably bother you a little bit. I know it bothered me, and I'm not even the one who got scammed.

If you want to purchase from this guy again in the future, than that's your choice. I can almost guarantee that you will be lied to again. The cinny is nice, but I too would double check the sex.

    Best of luck

I'm not trying to be rude here, so I apologize if I come across the wrong way. I'm just really confused....

Black back enchis still look like enchis....Black back nomals, just look like black back normals..... A number of us didn't see any enchi in the original post snake.
And if the snake in the original post was put next to the pastel enchi and looked fine, it makes me wonder what the pastel enchi looked like :confusd:
If it resembled the snake in the OP, then I'm having difficulty imaging that it was a pastel enchi. :confusd::confusd::confusd:

Well. I think we all did our part and gave our opinions on the matter. In the end, it's your decision to take it or leave it. If you're happy, then you're happy. We can't tell you what to do.
Good luck with your Cinny and your future transactions with the guy.
