this annoys me (animal planet content)

You know, we have seen that show and have had tanks in the past. Hubby and I are going, um, shouldn't they be cycling those tanks....

I honestly just like their tank ideas... xD I'm not a big fish person. It makes sense though that you would have to establish some sort of environment before putting all the fish in. But there have been multiple times where I heard them talking about doing that, so isn't it possible that the producers just cut all that "boring stuff" out to make it seem more exciting?

Well Animal Planet, thought you had at least one redeeming show... Guess not! :rolleyes:

More like "idiot keeper didn't feed their large python correct prey/didn't feed them often enough, and in hunger their snake tried for anything".



The only show I like on Animal Planet is "Tanked". Then again, you can't really have any negative things to say about fish...

Never seen the show, but I used to work for a large aquarium installation and maintenance company in the mid-west, and was a reef keeper myself. Even the damn pet stores that sell the fish often are clueless as to proper care. Not much different than the reptile industry I guess. Misinformation is everywhere.
