X2, yikes. Force feeding/assist feeding is very, very hard (stressful) on snakes and it really isn't necessary unless the snake is close to starving itself (which your little guy is far from). Try other methods and ask Lynn how and what she was feeding. Don't be surprised if he refuses the next couple of feedings as he's still acclimating and from the stress of getting assist fed a feeder.

Added: Pinkie mice aren't anything for a baby boa/ball: are you trying actual hopper/adult mice with him?

If your snake is not eating, as the others have said, please do not force feed unless your snake starts to look emaciated. Its very stressful for them and are more prone to striking and not eating. Leave your little guy alone for a week to allow him to adjust to the new environment. Don't handle him at all until he starts eating on his own. He may just be striking out at you from stress and is being defensive. Let him settle.

Thanks for the advice. I planned on leaving him alone for a week after this. I did try other methods I left a hopper in his tank and covered it up on two separate nights and I woke up to the mouse just laying in the tank. Also i tried to feed him off of tongs. But I do plan on leaving him alone for at least a week or so. Sorry if I have upset anyone with my actions. Thanks again for the advice.

Sounds like a good plan! We weren't upset so no worries!
Just letting you know that force feeding with your snake at this stage is counter productive. :)
    Good luck!

    He ate on his own.
As it says he ate a live mouse hopper.

Look how fare we have come. For the last week or so I have been working with little Tito here. At first I used gloves to handle him because even though it doesn't hurt that bad when he bites, it is pretty uncomfortable getting tagged about 20 times on your hands in one handling session. However for the last two days I have been able to handle him without the gloves without any incidents. I find that letting him know I'm there with a small snake hook that I made before I scoop him up is always a good idea. But just wanted everyone to see his progress. I guess I'm just excited that I am getting to actually handle him now!

P.S. Wow I love how inquisitive Boas are!

Another pic just cause I want to. He has really awesome coloring but the dang light washes him out. I need to fabricate a light tent.
