Well that answers my question! :gj:

Glad to hear you decided to stay, I read this thread this morning before I had to be out and about for the day and was hoping you would calm down. The first week I had a potty mouth, and yes it was in fact washed out with infraction soap. :(

I remember I got a zero point warning for cussing. I had no idea that this forum was going to be moderated so well. Didn't think anyone would care. When I first read the message, I laughed to myself and thought "wow, no profanity?", and now I don't really cuss in person or in regular conversations.

    To the OP:

Glad you apologized. You seemed to be a really friendly person around here, and I was honestly shocked when I saw the immature-frustrated side of you coming through the forum. Keep your cool, breh :gj:.

I have always wondered, since we have access to use that emoticon, are we allowed to use it at all? I feel if I did I would just be accused of swearing, unless mods can see what it filtered from.

    This actually bears explanation. :)

The censor smily is in the list because the auto-censor needs it to be there so it can use it. :P

The problem with members using it manually is we cannot see whether you did that or simply cursed - so we have to infract as though you cursed.

If you do want to use it make sure never to use more than two of them. This is because there are no two letter words we censor so it cannot be mistaken for either triggering the censor or trying to bypass it while elaving your intended word clear.

Basic rule - if we read it and can see what you meant as the curse you will get infracted for it.

I figured that was the case, I just didn't know if there was a way to hide if from us, but have it available to the filter. Makes sense though.

    1. ALL the cool kids have infractions. :gj:

    2. My 2nd infraction was the very first one Slim ever handed out as a Mod. Basically that means im awesome. You can rack up to 100 points or something before they kick you off for a bit to chill out!
