On a personal note, I would love to see how enchi effects that.

Oh...I'm so sorry. That's terrible. Really wanted to see her all grown up :( If I may ask, what did you mean by "she gets wonkier everyday"? Like a spider wobble?

Sorry about that but thanks so much for keeping us informed. This info will help others make informed decisions about breeding champagne to champagne. Perhaps others could have published that info before but glad that you stepped up and made it available now.

It wasn't like a spider wobble but something neuro was going on. When she was weak she seemed somewhat normal (besides the weakness). As she got stronger she seemed overly stressed once distubed. She would tuck her head almost in a panic mode.

So sorry Dave, thanks for keeping us informed on the outcome of what I am sure was a very disappointing experience.

Im surprised the question wasnt asked. Do you think the super champ didnt make it because of its genetics? Considering this is the only sample i think it is unfair to assume that it was the pairing that doomed this snake. I understand it may not be ethical to pair champs again but in the name of science i think it may be neccessary to give it another go and try to prove the degree of lethality associated with this combo.
Sorry for your loss. Id just hate to this combo be dismissed as possible because of the loss of one specimen to unknown causes.
    Just speaking strictly scientifically.

I think it's the genetics as I've never seen a ball python that acted like this one; however, it could of been bad luck. I know of another breeder with a champ x champ clutch incubating and there are probably more. Hopefully, we'll know more in the next few months.

I hope the next breeder with this combo will give us as much info as you did. Sorry for your loss, that was an amazing animal!
