Spiders. We have 5 tarantulas and I'm ok with them being in their containers, but I refuse to hold them. You can add scorpions to that fear as well. Screw that! I'm ok with a lot of other bugs, though. Roaches, stick bugs and other harmless bugs don't phase me.

Any kind of bees. Doesn't matter what kind. Honey bees, wasps, yellowjackets, hornets, you name it. You'd be amazed how fast I can run when bees are involved.

Commercial flying. I don't trust the planes nor the pilots. I am perfectly fine with flying in small personal aircraft because I can take control if something can happen. Luckily my doctor hooked me up with some ativan for our flight here in a couple days.

Riding passenger in cars. Can't do it. I will drive, thank you very much.

Being in water alone, especially open water. Murky water and open water at night are the worst. I am ok with swimming in our little pool, but I wouldn't go in the ocean or a lake alone. I don't even like doing it with a large group of people.

Other people's bodily fluids. I don't even like shaking hands with people.

I have a few more, but I can't discuss them here. Most are probably irrational, but yeah...

I dont give a crap what theyre supposed to eat, one tried to eat me when it bit me when i was little lol!
I like watching horse races bc the jockeys are always whipping them with the little sticks. And in skyrim i always kill the horses or steal them and run them off cliffs so they die.
Now that were having this discussion i realize how much i actually hate them and how disturbed i am lol...

The two things that creep the heck out of me are snails and slugs. Nothing else really bothers me as much as those two. I guess it's just the slime and just their alien look that creeps me out.

Theres alot of things i dont really like, and try to avoid, but im not necesarily afraid of them. For example; I dont like chickens bc i dont like the idea of them pecking me, but i would still hold one if you asked me to. Its kinda one of those weird "macho man" attitudes i guess lol. I have the ability to completely put my emotions aside in any situation that would make me look like a baby, especially in front of girls lmao!

    Two things

One, you can't hate horses! That hurts me inside. And two, being afraid of chickens is a legitimate fear, lol. I had to get stitches on my face right under my eye thanks to a chicken!!! He was evil!!! His spur got me really good under my eye, and I had one scratch across my forehead and one across my cheek from his talons! We ate him for supper that night, best supper I ever ate.

Strangely enough, I used to be terrified of ANY snake. Now, because of not wanting to impart irrational fears upon my daughter, and her love/adoration of them, I too, love my snakes. Too bad I didn't figure it out sooner. It took my baby to open my eyes to them.

....the fear of cotton balls, yeah...

I HATE cotton balls. I have chills going up my spine just thinking about them right now. They are like nails on a chalkboard to me. The sound when you squish it, the feeling, all of it makes me shiver. We had this discussion at work because we were hanging those cotton spider web things and I was shivering and telling people I could not help with that, and then I was forced to admit I was crazy, lol. The gal who sits next to me looked it up and says "hey you have a real phobia!"

    :gj:

Dude! I know the sound you are talking about! I thought I was the only human being that was bothered by that. They don't scare me, but that sound and how they feel. Eww!!! How about styrofoam? That little squeaky sound it makes when its squished or rubs against something. AHH!!!

    1. Im not really that afraid of chickens bc i have held my friends before but yea like their beaks are so sharp i dont wanna have my eyes pecked out by it or something. You get me because you had an avian near death experience!

    2. Im sorry about your insides but i do hate me some horses. Trust me i do it very regularly and very well. Its hard though bc whats up with every other girls favorite animal being a horse?
silly girl -"Omg lets go pet and feed the horses!"
me- "Omg lets not because id rather eat broken glass while going down a garbage disposal feet first..."

They're everywhere by my job due to the river, lakes, and ponds being all over. There was a female on my Jeep two nights ago. Eeeeek!
