He was also telling my he sold all his BP's at the Hamburg Show over the weekend and bought a Gila Monster, I asked him for photos of the Gila Monster but he made up some excuse why he couldn't show me some pictures.


I'm still waiting for him to send me the receipt that proves he purchased a pair of het clowns from NERD.

This is the conversation with him from today.

Me: Hey I got the snakes but I didnt get any paperwork.
Him: Ok do u have email or I can mail to same address, my kid boxed them up n said he marked the male, other than that is everything else okay?
Him: Do u want me to mail or fax I can do either, if my kid was home right now....damn just pisses me off.....
Me: yea my email is ........ please email me a scan of it
Him: sure enough sorry about that...
Me: It's not a problem, was just worried I got scammed for a minute, but both snakes are alive and well.
Him: I'm Glad the snakes r ok, did my kid do a good job on packing? Not looking to scam anyone just sent over paperwork let me know if you got it. Also I can mail it because theres a signature on it.
Me: Gotcha, you mailing it today? And I got your email thanks
Me: Wait the picture you sent me before is different than the one you sent me via email, the picture you sent me before had a huge diagonal NERD stamp over it...
Him: OK maybe it was too light I sent 2 I'll resend
Him: Ill mail today or tomorrow

..........some time passes by and I started looking up all his posts on here and what not

Me: Yo where exactly did you get the snakes from? Cause on the Nerd website it says the send photos for genetic certification, not just papers....

Me: And you purchased them directly from NERD at the show? I emailed them and I'm waiting reply..
Him: Yes there booth, I have a CC receipt
Me: Let me see the receipt or something dude, cause people are telling me that its a fake document, waiting on NERD to confirm this or not.

Me: OKay but do you care to explain why you posted a thread on ball-pythons forum asking if the snakes (that I just purchased) were clowns or not? I am holding the snakes in my hand and looking at the pictures on the thread, they are the same.
Him: My son posted for clowns about markers he is 10 n worded things wrong , like het pieds have markers. Why would go through so much time offering to meet you in person

Me: Idk dude thats a lot of cash to hand over to someone by trust, I'm looking into it tho, If I'm wrong I will have no problem apologizing

I did probe, I'm not entirely great at it (just starting out breeding) but from watching ralph davis's video on youtube I am confident to say that they are a 1.1 pair

This is my biggest issue, even if they end up being NERD 100% Het Clowns...

This guy wanted to get out of corn snakes and into BP's then 2 months later is getting out of BP's and into lizards. These are animals not toys. He is either trying to flip them for cash or hasn't done proper research before he got the animals and found that he doesn't like them.

Also I'm really not buying that a 10 year old write all of those posts... And they are very clear of their intent.

Plus who in their right mind trusts a 10 year old to pack and ship a live animal?

I could be totally wrong about this but really?

That's exactly what I'm saying, and in the post it says his friend is selling them not his dad, this is either the worst liar I ever encountered or its a huge coincidence, but I highly doubt its a coincidence, it all adds up that he is trying to scam me, that's why his kid "forgot" to pack the paperwork.

This whole deal was done under the impression that I would be receiving legit paperwork from NERD to prove genetics, I wouldn't have done the deal otherwise.

I Don't mean to add anymore stress to you but, you should have asked for a fax or email of the papers and pictures of the snake before hand and contacted nerd to make sure they were all correct. So you have proof of what you were getting. I hope it all works out in the end, other wise you spent some money on some normals. Also the other reason I like to buy gets with another morph in them that way it is not a total loss. Keep us posted as to what happenes I would love to hear what they guy says and what nerd says.
