I'm here to help if needed.
Is it accually garunteed that the BP's will die when they are sent back.
If so you may want to try and find out who their distributor is. That way you may be able to do a bit more research into said company. It is completely up to you, but I know that this situation has pulled at your heartstrings. I hope for the best for said BP's and congrats on your new one. It's wonderfull that you took her / him in
Thanks

Rusty- It's certainly not guaranteed that they will die when shipped back (wherever they are going). But if you think about it, who knows where the distributor is, if they are even on the western side of the US. (More than likely, though). And being shipped around AGAIN with un-heated trucks/planes, poor ventilation, crammed together in a little box, laying in their own parasite infested feces, I kind of gave it the benefit of the doubt. It's sad to say. They may not die, though. Considering thousands of bp's are imported, and I'd say half of them make it here alive. But, just in that one shipment, there were 6 dead bp's. That tells me the others may not make it. :(
But you never know about these things.

Oh, and I'm going down there tonight for anyone interested. :) Wish me luck, but don't count on anything. :(

Ok, I just got home from the petstore. :sigh: They were all gone, I guess earlier tonight someone came and got them all to be sent back to wherever they need to go. That makes me so mad, because I called them earlier today to see if they were still there, and he said they weren't being picked up until tomorrow afternoon. I'm so mad. I'm sorry guys. BUT at least I am going to be able to save one :) I'm VERY happy about that. :D:D

Sorry for the language, that slipped out :) I'm trin real hard to control my fingers on here. But I get real emotional (not liek cry emotional, just urgent kinda ya know?) when it comes to animals not being treated right, and if I can do somethin to save them I'll do whatever I can to atleast try.
Sorry to hear about the snakes, maybe whoever recieves them at their new destination might have a warm spot for them and take them in instead of killin them. But its outta our hands now i guess.
BTW, news on my front... the ASPCA came today and rescued two yellow labs and a beagle from my neighbors house after numerous complaints by me and a couple other neighbors to the local PD and to the ASPCA. These dogs have been outside for atleast 4 years, 24/7/365 in teh snow/rain/cold/heat with nothin but food. No love and care at all, and because of that they're not vicious but very PO'd. I've gone down a couple times to try and spend some time with them but the labs usually try to nip at me, and the beagle just runs in circles because its in a 6'X4' pen since its been a puppy. Atleast now their with people who care.
