Well if spending my hard earned money with you is irritating you then, don't worry, it will never happen again.

Now AP on the other hand has been just the complete opposite. As soon as I order I get confirmation email asking to verify my order is correct and also got an email stating that the "Quick Ship" 12 15qt/ 6 32qt rack I ordered was going to take a little longer due to sales increases. I was told 3 weeks. I Got an email in less than those 3 weeks with an apology for the delay and a tracking number. I now have my second AP rack on the way :)

I have also ordered hundreds of $ worth of products from RBI and must say that customer service has always been above and beyond my expectations and even though I haven't used any of their racks, the quality of their other products would lead me to believe that their racks would be just as good if not better than the competition.

Would order from RBI, but their selection is just too limited for racks (ordered a scale & temp gun from them yesterday).

AP, the assembling thing has got me a bit nervous, but I'll give em a call in a few to straighten some things up.

Boaphile, an 8+ week wait time is way too long.

As long as you can use a screwdriver and have 2 hands it is very simple. Their instructions are excellent.

*Edit* Here is just the link incase anyone is trying to view this on a phone (I know that videos don't show up on mine)

Not the kind of rack I'm looking at from them (would be getting the economy line 6/12 rack) and the side heating for Balls is a no-go for me. I appreciate the help but I don't think that's what I'm looking for.

All of their racks are put together the exact same way so the particular model doesn't matter, the process will be the same. If you are wanting to go with belly heat then the flexwatt gets taped to the shelf instead of the sides. All of the other steps are the same, in fact the rack in that video can even be set up with belly heat.

I'm really not trying to poo on anything you suggest, just questioning. :)

Just call Ali at AP. She will be able to help you better than anyone. They have many different styles and tub options that are NOT listed on there website.

that's how 99% of belly heat racks are, the only belly heat racks that aren't that way are ARS and Freedom Breeder racks and those cost thousands of dollars.

As long as you check the flexwatt even once per year, there is no problem with having the tubs directly on the flexwatt, in fact it is necessary for them to be touching otherwise you will have to run the flexwatt far too hot to maintain the proper temperatures.

in the case of ARS and Freedom breeder racks the flexwatt is in a metal casing and the tub sits on that piece of metal. but using the metal has it's own issues (suck as risk of electrocution)

The Rhinoraxx have the flexwatt recessed into the plastic so it won't rub....that's what I'd prefer. Just gonna call AP and decide. Thanks for the help.
