Not that I have one right now, but soon.. I just can't fathom putting a 3000.00 snake in a tub :( isn't that something you want to see and look at??

Once I figured out the lighting in my glass tank mh humidity is perfect.

I will be likely this month going to a T10 tho.. Just for ease and looks when you start adding more :)

Depends on the snake. I wouldn't mind doing it to a BP because they basically stay in their hides all day. However, if its a Green tree python I would want a really nice enclosure that I can display the snake.

If you put a 3000 gram snake in something else, you have to give her a big hide, and still won't see her, lol. (My big girls are in CB-70 bins).

    I think s/he means $3000 not grams

Yeah I'm talking money wise... I guess if you have 10 or 20 some snakes in your collection then I see it makes sense. My guys are/will be in the basement where most of the time it's quiet and uninhabited by humans so they roam when they feel like it

That's why I use Animal Plastics PVC cages. They hold heat and humidity just as well as tubs, but they have the viewing ability of a tank.

Hence the reason I book marked your thread and will be ordering one this week lol, I like the T10 just because it is a little bigger

I agree. Ball pythons don't make very good display animals. From the cheap normals to the $30k ones, they're all most likely going to be in their hides. So it doesn't matter if they're in a tub if not. You probably won't see them regardless.

Height is pretty much irrelevant for BP's, but it certainly doesn't hurt either.
