Wouldnt matter if it was live or dead. Its not yours nor our place to judge what that person feeds their snake eating snake.

Just cause its something you keep as a pet and care for dont make that species above the rest when its fed off live. Not all King Cobras will take rodents nor will they take f/t snakes.

Was looking for an excuse to use this one day.

BP being ate by a king cobra, on a BP specific sub forum? C'mon man. Should have gone in the hot section or general. Doesn't offend me but it offends others.

Wow i did not think this would turn into WWIII. I read this and earlier but didnt reply. This is nature though, as rough as it may be, but giving this guy a hard time isnt cool. Its not like it was his pic. Just something uou dont see everyday. Not a video of one being killed by a King. I appreciate the picture for its rarity and not get butt hurt. He does warn not to look.

First off I would like to say that's it's great to see Xzibit working again. After Pimp My Ride got cancelled I was worried that we'd never hear from him again; god knows that his music career isn't going anywhere LOL. I can assure you that I was in no way Trolling when I posted this picture. you may be right about this picture being better suited in another forum, but it is a BP pic and it never occurred to me that it would offend people. I myself am a BP lover and it didn't bother me in the least. in fact with the captions I found it very humorous. and I think you can see from the post's in general that most were not upset by the picture's contents.

I just wanted to use that pic lol. But I definitely think this would have been better suited somewhere else. :rolleyes:

Also in the OP's defense... he did title it "Albino lovers... Don't look!" so you were semi-warned. I actually thought the pic was pretty interesting.

Yet, if we'd seen a king cobra eating a snake in the wild on a nature show, most of us would be amazed and excited to see it.. Shouldn't matter if it's a ball. Don't you love all snakes? Or do just love BPs..

It may be the BP sub forum but it IS an all herps forum in general.

As far as the live vs F/T rat argument, don't forget that most breeders in the states feed live and start babies on live..

Most of those breeders also love rats, breed for color/coat/ears, and have pet rats..

You really can't be a hypocrite if you own animals like these that eat things like rats or snakes. Or... If you yourself eat meat but think those animals are cute as can be when they are babies, or could never stand to see one slaughtered.

I personally find nothing wrong with this picture. Knowing the story, at least the BP wasn't thrown in the garbage.

This is why I feed all my snakes tofu that I shape into their desired food source - less controversy. I'd share feeding pics but they look so real and life-like you probably wouldn't believe it was tofu anyway.

Come on dude, you posted a picture of a BP being eaten on a BP lovers forum and you didn't think it would offend anyone?????!!!!

I am not offended and understand that things have to eat but, like it was said, this probably was a bad decision to post it here. I wouldn't go on a rabbit lovers forum and post a picture of a rabbit being eaten by a boa or bird lovers forum and show a picture of bird being eaten by a cat and not think it would offend someone.

However, when I was training in Thailand I actually ate Cobra and it was pretty good.
