What sucks even more is that animals had to die. It sucks that these awesome animals get treated the way they do. They deserve to live free and in the wild.

I don't know maybe I have it all wrong. If so then maybe you can explain? It just bothers me with some of the stuff you are saying yet you are also a cause for these types of actions. I can see why you have a problem with some of the people that you do and vice versa.
Your going to complain about someone feeding their big cats live domestic rabbits? realy? Who cares? There are tons of em and they breed like rats.

So, is there any word on how USARK is gonna try and fight this?

That link you posted above, was done after years of torment & lies by carole baskins of big cat rescue.
This woman has single handedly with the help of her minions tried to have EVERY large animal rescue/sanctuary/breeder shut down in fl, she has gone as far as sending letters to all the neighbors around such rescues/sanctuary/ breeders, trying to incite panic, and urge them to complain. This same woman with the help of peta sent in a spy to GW exotic, and he made an "incriminating video" of abuse.

After an evening press conference on the elleged abuse, every agency & their mother was at GW's door bright & early the next morning. Did they find any case of abuse? No! Was their any non-compliance? No! Epic fail! on the part of peta. In fact GW had just had an inspection the day before.
And while their spy was caught red handed trying to steal their computers hard drives, and the FBI was called in, guess what they said "peta will never be prosecuted because too many judges & law makers are afraid of losing votes"

This woman carole baskin, with her warm & fuzzy videos, is a very dangerous person, who has aligned herself with peta.

So after years of torment & lies it's ok to neglect your animals? Really? She is owner of Big Cat Rescue. Ever think that she is trying to shut down places that neglect their animals? I have no clue what her agenda is but it seams odd that someone who owns big cats would want to make it so that NO one owns them. That would mean she wouldn't be able to either. Defeatism? I guess if no one owned them then none of them would be neglected or put down due to owner negligence.

I never said it was ok, but show me one citation for neglect of animals that Mr. Thompson received regarding those animals that were killed.
This whole thing is not about Mr. Thompson, you need to look at the bigger picture! Do you even know what that is?!

The bigger picture unfortunately is that as long as we are able to own "exotics", or anything else for that matter, somebody is going to screw it up for everyone else. That goes for everything in life.
G.W. Exotic Animal Memorial has been cited for neglect which you were also talking about in this thread. To my understanding Mr. Thompson was starting to neglect his animals because he couldn't afford the maintenance any longer. He was actually trying to get rid of some of the animals but no one would/could help him. He decided to take his frustrations out on others when he decided it was too much. There was/is no conspiracy theory. No one was murdered or found bound and hooded. The fencing on the cages wasn't cut open. He let them lose. The animals weren't killed in their cages. They were killed in the surrounding area. Animals were seen in other peoples yards and in parking lots.
