Congrats. He is a looker for sure. How old is he? He looks like he is only a little bit bigger than my male burm. I'd be curious to see which grows faster larger. I plan to get one someday, but not quite ready to deal with 2 giants yet.
He is just shy under 6 months old, and already entering yet another shed cycle. I've been feeding him live weaned rats which seem to fill him up just nice.
I definitely understand what you mean. I will for sure post up pics as he grows. Since these photos he's seemed to be fattening out a lot more.

I figured younger than that. My burm is maybe 3 months old, and roughly the same size. Maybe my mitch is going to be a BIG boy.

Re: First Giant!
Gonna updated you guys with something I'm not quite happy about.
My friend backed out of this commitment so I'm pretty much stuck with this Retic. I'm debating on whether I should keep him or not, but he's currently up for sale. I really like him but I don't think I'd be able to care for him once he starts to get big since I have no one to help.

That's depressing. I'm sorry about that. Maybe you can find someone else interested in helping to care for the retic.
