    I dont have any hairless genes.

    What you see is a double rex AKA Mock hairless. They look like a hairless till they grow their hair, then molt if off again. Doing this their entire lives, which is why i like them.

    Awesome, thanks! I had no idea... Hmmm...I might have to get some now, lol! Hahahahaha! One thing I read: does he have whiskers (curly or otherwise?) like a "standard" Rex/Double Rex would have?

    He is a double rex that is pictured here. They all have whiskers, but Rexs and double rexs are curled a lot, as reg rats are straight.

    This has some pretty interesting reading on the genetics of the various coat types and what gene(s) cause the mutation. I dunno...at a loss on that one. Hope he gets by okay, regardless.

    Yes theres a TON of rats out there that im sure are still not been produced.
