I absolutely freaking LOVE those guys!! I'm stoked that they seem to be consistently reproduce-able (even if it'll be a few years until I can get my hands on and/or breed one) ...
I wonder if this is something that can reliably pop up in homozygous cinny/pastel/heterozygous pied snakes, or if you're onto a whole new gene ..?

Has anyone else made super pewters without the pied gene?

So im confused. What are in those.
Just special super pewters. Or is the het pied showing as visual. Im slightly confused on the super and resecive morphs.

Not to be a hater but whoever first named the camo should be required to change that name after a snake like yours was produced. That has way more of the "camo" look than the super choc pin in my opinion. Definitely one of the coolest looking animals I've seen. congrats man!!

World of Ball Pythons shows pics of mine, as well as others'. I produced two supers last year that look completely different than any others I've seen. Both are possible het Pieds....but because they are so odd we are guessing they are probably 100% het.
The new clutch is the same mother, but was bred by one of two males.....a Pewter het Pied or a Pewter Pied. I'm thinking it's the het since some of the animals show the markers and some do not. I also think the new "urban camo" is a Silver Bullet and not a Super Pewter. I'm hoping to prove the Super out this year to a couple of different females. He will be an absolute Super Powerhouse if he proves to be het Pied.
I'm going to post pics of the new clutch once the last baby exits the egg....it's really taking it's sweet time.
Thanks again for the compliments. This has been a very cool project.
