He was under my green tree python's terrarium. I didn't think he could squeeze through such a small gap. He was laying under the UTH... Luckily the UTH wasn't hot enough to burn him. Back to your cage you bad little snake. lol. Thanks for all of your support!:D

Glad you found him - always look under/in the heated spots first! I lost a baby corn snake twice last year, before realizing her tub had a small crack (just big enough for her to escape)... both times I found her under my adult BP rack, the warmest spot in the room & first place I checked. Gotta think like a snake, LOL. ;)

P.S. How do your roommates not know about the snakes? I can see a landlord not knowing, but hiding them from a roommate would be tough!

i should post some of the photos of my snakes great escape at the beginning of September. i've had so many escapes now (all human error) that when a snake gets out i just wait for it to turn up. our room is always sealed off and we don't have heat vents they could go in.

i only get worried when it's an itty bitty corn!

Yeah, I've had my share of (temporarily) lost snakes by now... and the tiny ones, like that little corn snake I mentioned, are always the scariest!! You think "there's NO way I'll ever find him/her," but again it's always smart to begin looking around any heat sources.

Btw, I've discovered that snakes are generally creatures of habit, and tend to head the same way whenever they're out... so if you find a snake hiding in one place one time, there's a good chance it'll be their regular hiding spot. Some snakes I don't even worry about when they're out (on purpose), since I know they'll eventually end up in a certain place. Not that I allow snakes to wander freely, I'm just less paranoid about it when I know their habits - and if they're really big. :P

Dang... I'm just such a blabbermouth, I wouldn't be able to keep my mouth shut for long.

Btw, howdy neighbor! I'm down in the South Bay now, but lived at the border of Daly City (in SF) for about 4 years - and to be perfectly honest, I miss that foggy weather. :(

Nice, LOL. Luckily my complex is huge, and people here tend to mind their own business... plus my direct neighbor's hiding a large dog (she has two but only put one on the lease, since they charge pet rent per animal), so I know SHE won't squeal on me. Bwahaha.

For the record, I don't even know if reptiles are allowed or not - I just followed the "don't ask don't tell" policy when I signed the lease. ;)

Good job!! Squeal on me, I'll squeal on you! Kind of black mail but not really. lol.

Although, when I moved in, my landlord/roommate already knew about my Green Cheek Conure bird and my fish tank. He was alright with those. But not all people are OK with snakes, so I don't want to scare him!! All my friends are scared of snakes...When I said all, I really mean it!!! All of my friends are scared of snakes regardless if they bite or not. :tears: Kind of sad......
