I don't care how much bottled water costs it's still more of a drain on the environment than tap water, but do what you want. It doesn't bother me.
Yet I digress, did your doctor really tell you not to give your kids tap water because it has too much calcium in it? Did he tell you not to give them milk either? That has a lot of calcium. Soft drinks and Gatorade have a lot of sugar and other dissolved solids in them too might lead to a kidney stone. Only fresh distilled water, fresh organic fruits and vegetables, and organic free range meat for precious little Johnny.
By the way did you know if you only eat an organic vegan diet your poo no longer smells? It's true, try it some day.
Finally, I haven't been sorry. Mr. Snake is still alive and kicking, I'm about to try to feed him again since it's late and it's a picky eater. Pisses me the hell off when I have to waste a rat. But I'll get over it, like everyone should get over what someone says on a stupid forum.
Dang, Mr. Genious, seems like you might need a little refresher course on the proper use of punctuation. Your use of a clear subject in each sentence is a little fuzzy too. But what do I know, being dumb and all.

Read my other posts, I've got a BS in math. That definitely makes me older than 19. I hope you're enjoying this forum as much as I am. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

A BS in math? That stands for Bull Shoot, right? Oh, no no no, it's Bast... I mean Bachelor of Science. Stupid me! Well there you go, you got it in writing. Anyone who can earn a four year degree must be a super genious!:bow::bow:
Congratulations on being so much better than us mere mortals!

I dont know whats worse, the troll, or the people feeding the troll.
You called the idiot out, is there really a need to continuing a conversation with it?

Really, since he's showed up it's the same every thread he visits. People, as hard as it might be, either ignore, or at the very least don't keep up the argument with him. It just makes it worse.

Re: Spring or tap water?
I personally am done listening to him. I only got involved because he picked me out personally. I'm not going to argue with someone who can't understand how high 300 ppm is. I have tons of things that I could say to him but he's not worth my time. If I knew how to block him I would.

if humans drink it so can they. in the wild im sure they don't always drink the cleanest water.

I've always used tap water for my animals and my tap water is very hard. To the point where I need to run a little vinegar in my dishwasher in every load I do to keep the lyme from building up and to be sure my dishes rinse clean.
So to clean the lyme ring in my snake bowls, I put the ceramic bowls in a wash tub with vinegar water once a month or so between regular cleanings. The plastic bowls get scrubbed with a baby bottle brush that I use just for those bowls. They are plastic dog bowls that I use for the larger snakes. A quick scrub around the inside with every refill keeps them from getting nasty.
The only thing I use bottled water for is my scorpions because insects and amphibians are extra sensitive to the chemicals in tap water. I figure if it's recommended to only use spring or distiller water for springtails and dart frogs, then it must also be true for the scorps.
As someone else said earlier, chlorine will dissipate out of any water that sits for a very short time in open air with no cap on it.

Re: Spring or tap water?
I use spring water from a spring not bottle spring water. my snakes do well with it. I don't have a problem with someone using tap water or bottle water. whatever works for you. there's so many different ways we keep our animals and what works for one, might not work as well for another. my snakes would most likely be fine using tap water. but getting tap water would be harder than getting spring water where I live. I don't think that there was a wrong answer to his question. but reading all the posts, sounded like many were defending what they used.
