Well, since you know that ugly baby is just a common lesser, I can't imagine you want to keep that hideous thing. I'd be willing to take it off your hands. ;)

Very nice babies, by the way.

Lol! That decision will be made once I know what the sex is. I believe it's a butter (the dam) and it seems the entire clutch wanted out too early. 2 of them pipped on day 53 and every one has gotten at least 2 shades darker. I guess they just weren't done cooking yet. I do believe I now have hands on proof that butters and lessers are a visually different variation of the gene. At least as babies. Of course, that's my opinion, but the difference between this little one in color and pattern, and a lesser I hatched, is phenomenal.

I don't think I'll be posting "in egg" photos of light morphs anymore. Lol geeze.

They're all beautiful to me tho :D

The color change is CRAZY

Here is a picture of a pastel dinker in the egg that I was loosing my mind over and then he colored up to "normal" pastel colors.

idk, sometimes. But mostly you will see the yellow come in more over the first 6 months.

It depends on how early they hatch and the morph. I have a lesser I hatched last year that started out looking like a mojave but over the course of a year it lightened up so much that it's yellows now are just insane. I'm not sure why that happened since lessers generally look better as babies. After the first shed, they all usually look a lot different than they do the moment they hatch.

If a clutch hatches a week early like this one did, they can be incredibly light. Especially while still in the egg. I was making judgment based on babies still in the egg and got fooled lol.
