Nicknames....post em!

My sisters call me 'shorty' even though I am 5'7 and they are 5'3 and 5'4 :D

Close friends tend to call me just 'country' :gj:

Haha, my siblings had a really hard time with my name when they were young, from Erica I got: Kack, Er Ers, and Erk :P Some friends of mine adopted a couple so I respond to Er Ers and Erk pretty often

Yep, he was a Marine.. Him and his best friend went in and neither liked the military once they joined, and my great grandmother would drop them off at the bus station after being home on leave and they would beat her back home, haha.

It is a war rarely remembered, so it's nice when it's appreciated :)

One of my sisters had speech problems when she was younger, so when she was really little, Nicki because Ni-Ni and then Nicki-Ni.. I about CRIED the other day when she pronounced it correctly the first time! I loved being Nick-Ni :tears:

Aw! I used to babysit a little girl and her aunt's name was Nicki. The she was still 2 y/o, Aunt Nicki became Aunt Ni-Ni.

No, I was there in the late 70's, but both my father and father in law were in the Korean war.

My nickname is Bear when I was a baby my voice was pretty husky and I would growl when I was crying so my mom called me bear and it stuck luckily I grew into it. lol

My name is pretty short to begin with, so I don't really have an "official" nickname... but I am sometimes called the following:

Lolo - just one friend who calls me this, and I'm not sure how she came up with it. Inspired my screen name, though!
Red - I'm a redhead, but only strangers dare to use this one. :P
L - once I complained about not having a name that can be shortened, so my sister dubbed me "L" (first letter of my name)... she's called me that ever since.

That's about it! Oh, and I also have a Hebrew name... Shulamit Tzivah, after my great-Uncles (Saul/Shlomo & Sam) who both died right before I was born.

My nickname is just awful! Please don't laugh but my brothers gave me a very stupid one when we were growing up, they called me Wuss.
