Congrats on that beauty!! Very interesting, at first glance I would have thought the Nitro had pinstripe in it.
Looking forward to seeing what you do with that one!!

So this is a Spotnose Spider not a Spider Spotnose Pastel right?

We bred Pastel Spotnose to Spider. We are not sure if we hit on all three or not. We did not get any other spiders in this clutch to compare.
Some one else here said that VPI tried spider to spotnose w/ nothing special coming out except really pretty spiders. I don't know Tracy well enough to ask how much she played with this combo.
Some of my more experienced friends thought that there must be pastel involved to wash the pattern out so much. Now that it has shed though, there is very little yellow ( will post pics later this week)
Only Time and breeding will tell.

I wonder if bumblebee to spotnose would produce the same thing... So many questions! I hope others out there will try these combos too to help figure this out....This just goes to show you what a fun creative, and exciting hobby breeding ball pythons can be... even when you have a small tight collection as we have!

Hi I'm kind of new to ball pythons and have seen this statement ' I hope it is a male' and was wondering why people seem to want males. And congrats to you on this great snake.

I am new to Balls as well but if it is any thing like breeding dogs...I would assume it is because where females produce a limited amount of offspring in a season.. the males can well.. infinitely procreate lol
