Re: Paradox Spied or funky pied??
I don't think everyone understands the topic.
Although the snake is obviously showing spider genetics, that does not guarantee that it will produce spiders.
If it ends up being a chimera then the genetics that are passed on may be different than the genetics showing through visibly.
    Very nice snake.
I am interested to hear what it was sold to you as. Either way, nice addition.

Sorry, I meant to respond to this thread earlier but it slipped my mind as I've been pretty busy. The snake is doing awesome and growing quickly.

The snake ended up being a female so she won't be ready to breed for some time. For some reason I assumed it was a male. When Steve showed me the snake I instantly wanted it and we realized after the fact that it was probably never sexed. He offered to take it back but I wouldn't let her go, she is here to stay.

I think it's a toss up if it will produce spieds or not. It wasn't sold to me as a spied, more of a paradox that I may get lucky with. I love paradox, ringer and unusual snakes so I'm thrilled having her even if she just takes up bin space. She does look at me like a spider with that slight head tilt. I haven't witnessed a wobble or any more "spider like" activity.

One of the coolest paradox's I've ever seen. I'd love to have a BP with 2 different color eyes!

    Keep us updated on her!

Amazing bp.:) Its like a two-faced snake, one showing the spider trait while the other half shows a normal pied head. Very interesting to watch out for as it turns into adult, as well as its outcome when bred.
