Re: Have you ever been bitten by a feeder??
I had a very similiar experience to Ericson1777. I used to work at a pet store, I was picking a feeder mouse out of the tank, he wiggled a bit and fell to the floor. I wanted to catch him fast (I was in a back room but he could have easily fit under the door and freaked out a bunch of customers). I finally cornered him (with the broom I think) and instead of picking him up by his tail-for some reason I grabbed him around the middle-learned my lesson...and he was dinner.

    What's ASF(s)?

ASF - African Soft Furred Rat. The BP's native meal. They make great feeders, since they don't grow as large as a rat (as an adult) and they have big litters :)

I love it when people when people are so disgusted my my snakes, but think the rats are cute. Then ask if a snake has ever bitten me. Yeah, and I would take a snake bite over a rat bite any day. Lol. I tell them it's safer for their kids to hold the snakes. Lol!!!
