I'm worried, though, that breeders of large constrictors are going to get shafted by all of this. They don't deserve it and this entire bill needs to be thrown out.

Again I really appreciate everyones responses! I honestly didnt think that it was goping to go this well. I was very nervous to say the least. I dont have much experiene with public speaking, so i thought i was going to butcher it,or the reporters were. But Im very very glad it turned out well. Im glad i represtened this whole community well bc that was my goal! I do really feel like it shouldnt be just the smaller breeders alone getting the media word out. There needs to be more coverage with the huge ones as well. But i really did think that showing people that these are living creatures and peoples livelihoods like so many of us. If they are going to try and take down a huge industry like this Im not going down without a fight. I also feel like this stupid bill needs to be thrown out the window. MORE needs to be done with the conservation part. More research needs to be done and we need to get that point across. If they are going to make millions of people loose their incomes I want to see scientic and proven and reproven research showing that banning these animals is the only way to go. Bc at this point they havent shown us that. Its sad that millions of people losing their way of life is acceptable to these people. I call bull (sorry it pisses me off)! I feel like there is other options. They just dont like this industry bc its different from what they would choose. But theyre not the ones getting put out of work.
