It's funny how those decades of experience have done nothing but foster a bad and condescending attitude. I have never seen one of the individuals offer anything other than sarcasm and non-constructive criticism to everyone who is looking for help, that is not in his forum clique...

obviously I'm not refering to BG. Otherwise, how would I have known the topic of this thread? I am not a fan of BG, but his advice is sound...

Sam used to be very annoyed, but now she finds everyone who dislikes BG's 3rd person talk lacking in the originality department. Sam is realizing how fun it actually is! Everyone who blocks BG for it should go to the doctor to fix their funny bone, in Sam's opinion.

Bloated Goiter is not the only source of information, but good information is good information whether that person does it in a patient and kind manner or with a firm kick to the ass or with an admittedly over-the-top persona.

The Forums are filled with people who patiently take the time to fully answer a question correctly and in the kindest and gentlest of ways.

The Forums are also filled with people who patiently spew garbage and unfounded opinion-based theories in the kindest and gentlest of ways.

Has anybody around here put someone on the ignore list because they give out false information and crappy advice? Perhaps - but I'd bet Bumpy Gonad's extra small jock strap that more people have been put on the ignore list because someone got their panties in a wad over a perceived slight or verbal backhand - regardless of how sound that advice was.

There are two discussions going on here - one about the Mighty Unit's self-help attempt and the other one about a sarcastic and negative clique running wild on BP.Net......

Really.

The ignore feature is in place for a good reason. I disagree with the person/s who think small minded, insecure or people with no sense of humor are the only one's that use it.
I come to a forum to learn as well as have fun. If someone isn't teaching me anything or making me laugh and muddies the waters for me to learn and share idea's and they do it long enough, I'd ignore them. If they have a problem with it, to bad. Does this mean I have no sense of humor, nope. I don't have anyone on ignore but I certainly appreciate the ability to use it to make my time on a forum more enjoyable.
As for bg. The third person thing is weird but hey whatever floats your boat

Big Gunns always has a method to his madness, and this thread was one of his unorthodox "methods". The people that say they "ignore" Big Gunns would never listen to what BG says about them, but they might listen to what others think of them.

Big Gunns has found a trend with the people that usually don't like him..... no matter what..... when he shows up on the scene. There's the very "weak"(we all know BG's saying). Then there's the people that want all the attention for themselves. The long time forum members that think they're the smartest...the center of attention. They hate that BG takes anything away from them. HMMMMM...wonder who these people are.;):D You need to realize just how intelligent Big Gunns really is. He can spot you guys a mile away and he knows why you have a problem with him. Try and give these people all the attention that they got before BG showed up my fans. BG hates to see people upset that they can't live up to his lofty standards.;):D

BG is glad the it appears the most of his fans get his "shtick". BG will try to help when he can, and do it as only Big Gunns can. Although Big Gunns does enjoy "getting someone's goat"...he does not enjoy it when someone is so upset they can't function in the forum anymore. BG is here to have fun.:gj:

ps. Hey Willy. Big Gunns is gonna get the Webster dictionary and find more derogatory words that start with "G". It's amazing how you come up with them. Even Big Gunns couldn't think of that many on his own without his Webster.:D Here's a few you may not have thought of. I appreciate it much the way my roses do when fertilizer comes. They know it's a load of crap, but it's served up so nicely they can't resist.
