I don't agree with that 100%. I know that when i am trying to figure out what morph to buy its a hard decision. There are tons of combinations out there, and for someone just getting into breeding and not knowing what makes what picking out there first morph could be hard. Maybe they should do their research before they start breeding or maybe they just want someones opinion because they are torn between their choices. I know I spend countless hours browsing morph photos and trying to figure out what makes what and what I want to get next. I am always asking other what they like or what they would get if they were in my shoes. Just because they ask doesn't mean that they are going to follow the will of the people, Maybe they just want to see what everyone else would do in their shoes.

A good point....my thoughts weren't clarified enough. I certainly understand folks wanting to consult on important decisions they are trying to make. But the guys with $xxx to spend who want a morph just for the sake of having a morph without really knowing anything about them and showing no inclination to put in the time and effort to learn.....that's what bugs me.

And given what I said, it may look like it bothers me when newbies ask questions....and that's not true at all. Heck, it's why I live and breathe BP.net....so they can come and ask them. I don't even mind the same questions over and over again because I know a site as big and busy as this one is can seem very overwhelming to someone unfamiliar with it and the search function may not seem as friendly as it does to us veterans.

I guess it all just depends on the attitude. Is someone passionate about the animals and wanting to learn? Or is it a passing fancy that they can't be bothered to spend much time working on, even if they want to spend big bucks on fancy paint jobs.

Why is it no surprise to BG you added "3rd person". Big Gunns isn't worried though...you'll be a fan soon enough Patty.:P

"make it to this thread"???? BG thinks it's why there is this thread.:D

A good example on this forum is, "Why hasn't my ball python pooped?" I think it get's asked 3 or 4 times a week...

Now....Big GUnns wants people to take a second look at this complaint.

You can find all the information you need on anything reptile related somewhere on the net. There is no need AT ALL to go to this or any other forum to get it. It's actually probably a bad idea to get info from a forum. It would be much better to go a a big breeders site or e-mail one directly.

People should stop bashing the people that don't use the "search" button in Big Gunns opinion(the only one that matters). They are usually newbies that want some personal service, and to have some interaction on the forum. The people that always complain about this are the old time forum losers like Big Gunns that are sick of answering the same question. Just don't answer it anymore. Let someone else.

A forum is there to interact with other people and get information....not just for information. LEAVE THE MY NEWBIES ALONE. Big Gunns needs them to survive. They don't know him yet.:D

Another thing that really bugs me is when folks whine and cry because someone isn't nice to them. I mean...it'd be GREAT if every answer was given with polite civility. But this is the real world, and that just isn't going to happen. Some people just aren't skilled at being patient and diplomatic....some people get a charge out of being irritating. But either way...just deal with it and grow a slightly thicker skin....please. ;)

Yeah....stop complaining about Big Gunns is what JLC is trying to say.:D

That makes sense and I agree, people need to make the effort and put tin the time if they are that interested in buying said morph

Heck when I started here it was the first time I had ever visited any type of forums ever. I can understand not knowing where the search function is. It can be annoying seeing the same threads but heck, It happens and people have questions, Its much easier for a forum noob to just post a new thread than it is to try find something on a forum.

These forums would be pretty slow if the same questions werent asked over and over again..... I bet every question asked has already been asked more than a few times....... Isnt that what forums are for?

LOL...think about it...What peeves you about forums? "The questions being asked"..... thats funny
