I've already wasted enough of my life on this type of move having watched Blair Witch Project. Never would have watched that either if a friend didn't love it and buy it the day it came out on DVD. We watched it to amuse him and have never forgiven him. A bunch of people pretending to be scared on camera isn't entertaining. Maybe they really are scared, but of what, the darkness?

Reminds me of the intro to an old game.

    "I'm casting magic missile."
"Why are you casting magic missile, there's nothing to attack here?"
    "I...I'm attacking the darkness!"

In real situations, half the stuff people assign to spirit activity is really just mundane stuff that happens coincidentally. They get themselves so paranoid that they can't even pick out what's really linked to it, and what isn't.

Exploring hauntings is like a wildlife safari for me, I like to find them in their native habitat, they're kind of cool. ^_^

Myth one: You can't defend yourself.
Of course you can, you just need to learn how. If you aren't very good at it, then call in some help, because there's nothing out there that NO ONE can deal with. There's always someone around somewhere who can take care of it, no matter how big and tough it is. But don't sit around twiddling your thumbs not trying, and then claim you're helpless.

Myth two (the spookier one): Ghosts can't hurt you anyhow.
If it can throw a plate, what can it do to your heart? Common sense. It's much easier just to lull someone's mind into a trance as they approach a red light, though. If they wanted you dead, and you weren't protected, you wouldn't last very long. Obviously most spirits aren't interested in homocide--many of them appear to quite simply be TRYING to scare people. It's probably loads of funny for them, I know it is for me.

And I didn't know you why back then....you would of loved that apt.
I use to be the hugest skeptic...but saw, heard and experienced too much not to believe. Got some great crazy stories though!!
