This thread really makes me miss my dryer.:(
I know you feel! I was SOOOO happy when we bought our house and could actually wash our laundry! I HATE laundromats!

Re: How often do you wash your sheets?
I live at an apartment and we have laundry facilities but its 1.25 to dry and 1.50 to wash so I wash my sheets maybe every 2 months? I shower before bed too because I'm not waking up with enough time to do it in the morning and I guarantee you with as cold as I keep my room I dont sweat at night. However, theres already enough junk floating around you get covered in stuff right after you shower anyway.

..................... It costs me 5 dollars to wash my sheets. Thats just the sheets and pillow case... thats all.... Thats half the cost of typical laundry for me and means I have to get another roll of quarters... Come on man.
Re: How often do you wash your sheets?
For YEARS I was a laundry mat rat - every week, without fail, I was at the laundry mat (up to as recently as 5 years ago). I still washed my sheets every single week. And if I couldn't wash them, I have 4 other sets of sheets that I can at least change them on a weekly basis.
Then a neighbor moved out a few years ago, and didn't want to take her washer and dryer (a year old at the time) with her, and sold the pair to me for $100. I am soooo glad that I'm not fighting people for dryers any longer.
Re: How often do you wash your sheets?
When I was growing up my mom used to use flat sheets for both the bottom and the top. Then she would take the bottom sheet off after a week to wash. The top sheet then went on the bottom and the new clean sheet went on as the new top sheet. She told us only the bottom sheets really get dirty. I hadn't remembered that until this pole!
Re: How often do you wash your sheets?
Well if I had the money I'd wash my sheets a little more, but being a full time student and only working 10 hours a week doesn't get you too far.

I feel ya! Although I work a bit more than that, it's sooooo expensive to wash your clothes if you don't own a washer or dryer.
We bought a washer dryer set about 2 years ago and I figured it up that the washer and dryer paid for themselves after I went through TWO laundry soap bottles. Well worth it! Our laundromat was EXPENSIVE $5 wash and dry per load. Our water bill is only $20 a month and it's an energy star so I'm sure it doesn't cost much to run it. Thank god for living in a small town! I love our city bill, the highest it's ever been was $40!

Well....it all depends what Big Gunns has been doing in those sheets.;)
