I also get condensation in one of my DIY racks...there's plenty of holes for ventilation yet certain times of the day they just fog up from the temperature difference.

Yes, you are right, but that isn't the issue. The issue is that the room is cooler than the tub, which is what creates the condensation. It us just like when you see condensation on windows when it is cold outside, but warm in your house.

Re: Ballbids.com
then i stand corrected:oops:.... sometimes my hatchling tubs get this as well,,, but not every one of them at the same time. and the only time my adult tubs look like that is if they spill their water or something. everyone of theirs are dripping with condensation... so what this tells me is that the basement isnot properaly heated and the temp from the flexwatt is making this hapen..
i wander what their temps are in the tubs... id bet my right:colbert: that their cool sides are in the 60's KY is cold right now.

I'm in Ohio, and it is the same here. My basement, which is where the snakes are housed, is usually cooler than my living area. It is usually kept around 70 F, or so. Almost all of my tubs, even my tubs in my Reptile Basics racks, get a lot of condensation in the winter. It could also be because I use newsprint as substrate in my tubs. I don't get as much condensation in the summer.

I dont know about you guys, but Im just going to save up for my future snakes and get them from a trusted breeder. Much less risky.

This isn't a witch-hunt, we have time and time again talked about Zach's past with ignorance and from the images (YES, there is condensation, but still) it appears he has an appropriate set-up!
The guys a scammer and is giving the hobby some bad rep, BUT just because one YEAR ago he was ignorant of proper care doesn't mean he still is. People are capable of learning. [/end rant]
On a side note.. anyone amused by how they just straight up stopped posting here? :P
