Jeff is growing and doing great. He's easily taking medium rats every two weeks now. He's looking handsome and is very chill now.

I just love the combination of those clean blocks of color on his back and the dark speckling on his tail. Seeing Jeff makes me reconsider my own tendency toward solid-colored boas ...

That's what makes snake-keeping so "dangerous"- So many appealing colors & patterns+++, & "variety is the spice of life". ;)

Thank you. Really cool thing about VPI T+ trait. Normal/greyish-blue eyes and the speckles. Love the speckles. Really makes him look interesting. Hard to see in that picture, but he's getting black speckles all over his body. It's most concentrated on his tail, but they are all over.

My sisters (Ally and Sarah) are visiting. Ally loves the snakes and Sarah tolerates them.

Ally held Jeff while I cleaned his tank. Empty, he's 1,310g now. He's catching up to Feliz (dwarf BC), who really doesn't seem to be growing much anymore.

Jeff is about 1.4kg now. He's doing great and looking fantastic. He's doing well with handling, but can still be a little "grippy." He's getting strong so not ideal, but he's very docile and calm.

Agreed. He's still very intense. Pretty cool.
