Flint, is that a camo hat in your avi? If so, camo hat + snake/reptile enthusiast <3!!!! I know you're engaged, just saying.

To the ladies who can't find a guy who isn't afraid of snakes. Welcome to de-masculinized men. Its an incredibly sad reality. Instead of being manly, wrestling with lions, corralling pythons, all while brandishing a only a loin cloth, you have skin-tight jeans, waxed eyebrows, and the inability to sweep you off your feet. Lest we forget the whole reptile ordeal. Sad, sad state of affairs.

This thread was hilarious to read. My personal favorites were Pyrates was possibly a girl, and Skiploder's post. But lots of good stuff all around. If you're concerned about one-liners at a reptile show, don't go for a one-liner. One-liners are for when you need to break the ice and don't have anything to talk about. At a reptile show, the topic is all around you. If you see her at a table looking make a comment about the morph. If its a complex morph, ask her what she thinks it is. If its a simple one, ask how involved she is with bp's and her experience level. Show an interest, smile, and be fun, go from there. If she gets somewhat cautious as to your interest, simply state that you are trying to get into snake breeding and wanted to get an idea for what a potential customer is looking for snake-wise. That, or you were checking out the morphs and as awesome as they are, she was just too damn cute to not want to meet.

    I finally have a boyfriend.

But of course, he's not too fond
    Of snakes.

So, a Snake loving girl just waltzed into my life...but I'm not in a position to support a relationship right now (no job, still have some things I want to get done before "settling down")

    Any thoughts??

They're the same ones making dubstep popular. With jeans that tight, clearly the only thing that's dropped for them is the beat. Lol

Stay friends and keep in touch. Things don't have to escalate and if she's a decent girl she'll be understanding and may even "wait." Life has a funny way of making things work out - or go totally to crap but we'll ignore that - so you just never know. Don't burn any bridges and take the opportunity to see if you mesh better as friends. Hitting it off is one thing, being able to go full-term is another.

We like the same animals, the same TV shows, the same movies, and the same music. She even guessed my middle name on the first try (and without any coaching). We share the same views on religion, on education, and we have similar life goals...

And I just found out she may be moving away to care for her mother who may have cancer :/
