How many have found "love" on the forum?

Well now that I am single WOOT WOOT!! I may just find a friend, someone local, to hang with....and who will help me clean cages also ;)

I have not, but yeah I think it would be nice to meet a girl that's into reptiles.

I think it would be cool to meet a guy whose into reptiles.. Maybe I should try being more talkative at reptile expos LOL:P.

Although once over a year ago I had one guy hitting on me a lot of the time.. It was kinda weird to be honest. :rofl:

got to realize not use to those crazy drivers that like 20+ over the posted limit that takes getting use to lol

My boyfriend won't even come near me if I have my snake out, let alone walk into a reptile expo with me! It would be nice to have a reptile buddy to do stuff like that with. :giggle:

Aw, you live too far away! I need some lady reptile lovers to hang out with... :( My bf did go with me to a Reptile show but he was kind of "Eh" about it. My son was being annoying too so I didn't get to enjoy as much as I would have liked.:rolleyes:

it can be difficult when two people dont share a common reality on a particular passion. Thats why i could NOT be with someone who's either afraid of snakes or dislikes them. It would just cause too much strain on the relationship, in my opinion. Thats why im glad i have Terry.;) We can talk for hours and hours just about our snakes alone. And we gave a lot of reality together on the dealings and goings on regarding them, so we get along very well.:D

I met my husband on an online dating site. We have been together for 10 years. It would have been nice to have met someone who loved animals as I do. But I have been working on my husband over the years. 1 cat was fairly easy. Then I added some pocket pets over the years. Then the D-O-G, big 3 letter word I finally got. Now he loves our dog and cares for him like I do.
At first he said "no way no snakes" and we used to argue about it. It took about 9 years before I got him to let me have a snake (I had snakes with my exhusband, who took them all in the divorce, so I always wanted my own), then I had added 3 more since then and will be adding another next month. The tortoise was a piece of cake after the snakes. You can always work on people to get them to love or at least accept your pets. If not, then that person isn't the right one for you.

Its funny most of the girls I have dated are cool until they find out how many reptiles I have. Some dont mind the dragons or leos but when they find out about all the snakes it doesn't usually last long after that... Lol It would nice to find someone that shares my passion for reptiles.. :-)

I knowww!! It's bad enough all the men in my life hate snakes, but I literally know NO females that love snakes except my mom...but she hates spiders so she won't go to the expo with me (T's are so cute and fluffy...I don't understand how they are scary)...it makes me sad :(

And for that reason I'm not bringing my son to the one in NH...way too far away to be dealing with a hyper 4 y/o...but he's coming to the MA one with me! lol

I have dated one woman I met on the internet but that was on Ever Quest. I am an old nerd. It would be awesome to meet a woman that likes snakes it is fairly rare for me to even talk to guys that like snakes. Either we are all weird "which I know I am " or other people just don't get it.

Dam, I think I'm the rare lucky one!

My girlfriend will only play with my snakes when she's drunk but would NEVER put up a fuss over me owning them. She knows what I'm all about and I told her straight up. She's amazing! Be honest and open and it will take you a long way :).

Now rats on the other hand....:D

I lucked out, my boyfriend is terrified of snakes but his two daughters LOVE them. So we trump him! He's only ever held one of my snakes but it isn't an issue for me, he's supportive and if I want snake money he's there to pass it over ;)

Most of the girls I have dated are OK with snakes, but none have really liked them all that much. They sometimes hold them occasionally. I beleive they do it to impress me, or make me think they are interested in what I am interested in. I did date a girl back-in-the-day that was pretty interested in them; although, she was into all animals. Hopefully I will find a girl like that again, one day...

BTW, I have never dated a girl that I met online. I persoanlly like to meet them in person if I plan on dating them.

i like snakes and i'm cute and fluffy ;)

My wife hates the snakes but it works out good... I get my snake time she gets her facebook time. She try's not to annoy me while I am doing my snake stuff and I let her be while shes on facebook (which amounts to a lot more time then I spend with the snakes). Would I appreciate it if she was into it a little more instead of the whole "you spent that much money on a snake!? Yeah that would be nice but then she would take over the man cave and I would much rather her spend her time on facebook!

Oh tell me about it, I only know a couple of men here in SD personally who enjoy snakes as much as I do. I just wish I didn't get crap about it from MY man but I still wouldn't trade him for the world.

I have 8 tarantulas and LOVE them all, yes they VERY fuzzy and cute!

Like a few people on here, I didn't get with anyone on here, but I met my bf on myspace (5 years ago)....our first date, he threw food in my shirt :rolleyes:
I love good music, he loves good music. I love muscle cars (my dream is to build my own 68-72 nova), he loves muscle cars(69 camaro). I love video games(xbox 360, of course), he loves video games. I'm not too sore on the eyes. I also love piercings, tattoos, sports, reptiles (all animals, really). I have snakes, bearded dragons, dogs, cats, tarantulas, dubia, rats. He does enjoy the reptiles, but of course, I'm the one that takes care of them and obsesses and drools over them. I'm sure he gets tired of having to listen to me talk about them....I don't have anyone else to talk about reptiles to though.
He got pretty dang lucky, if I do say so myself!! :rofl:
