It doesn't work at all for me. I am getting really mad.

It was working earlier - my guess is that some sort of crash or maintenance is happening.

^Yea the games not working for me either.. pretty lame.

Hmm, odd. It's working for me now, though it was down for a while yesterday.

I am getting strange errors .. like males that are 3 years old and still "baby", while the females .. all the same age, are adults and ready.

It's fun, but dealing with these glitches all the time gets old. Selling and buying off of the market just to continue sucks.

Once you're able to afford the space you don't really run into the problem of not having stuff to breed and needing to buy from the market.

I must say this game has made me appreciate the amount of planning some of the big boys must have to go through with all these snakes pairings.

Finally level 30!!!! This game is addicting as all hell... Oh and the first fires I sold went for like 20 million... LOL I couldn't believe I hatched the first...

Usually if you start at the incubator and go to each individual room in a row by the time you get to the snake room everyone will be listed at what they are supposed to be.

how do I feed my snakes? I have a little female that is hungry. What do I do? The rest of them apparently are fed. I am at level 7.

You can't... seems they intend to let you feed the snakes at some point so they kind of programmed it but you can't actually feed them, they actually get to starving. :(

How do you get better quality - I just bought 2 females and a male from the shop but they were low quality so I sold the lowest female and the male and bought replacements.

What are the chances they will be any better?

How many females can a male cover?

And do they die if the can't be fed? or do you have to sell them at starving and buy them back of the market or something?

Ive had females get up to 8 years old. I dont breed them daily and eventually they become full again. If you breed them constantly, they do seem to get to starving a bit faster.

I need to log back in i suppose and start breeding more stuff :D

Do you ever get to the point you can have more than 20 snakes?

if you click on shop, underneath the eggs you can buy, you can buy more space. It's sold in 10 snake increments and the price goes up each time

Addendum to the previous statement of how I wish IRL I could breed two pieds together and get as many pieds as I do in the game -- I certainly am glad IRL I don't have to pay $200,000 for 10 more cage spaces :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Ya know .. it's a great concept, cool idea, I like doing it .. but I am having so many issues with the system it hard to force myself to keep trying anymore.

I know it's a free service, and I know what running a website is like (Trust me, I know) but .. as a user, I can only take so much before I get bored and uninterested.

Is there a way to tell how well you are doing?

Just not sure I am going about it the right way.:confused:

I went with improving my normals till half way through level 9 and managed to get them to about 310 averadge but should I keep trying to get better and better normals as a good shortcut to making better hets and thus homo's?

I now have some good axanthics around 320+ mark but have hit a slowdown and have hets coming out my ears. :taz:

Only 160 snakes and think I need to specialise a bit more to get the rest of the morphs quality up.

Also how do you know what has been sold in the marketplace?

I havent been able to get it to work for me yesterday- or today :( Every time I go to the site it will show the "boarder" and the "incubator", "Nersery", ect- but in the middle it says " Can not display web page" :(

the one thing i hate about this game is the prie of adding space for 10 more snakes.
why does the price go up for caging.

After an hour or so of trying to play when I want to and can't get in I lose interest and I usually won't try again for a few days. Everytime I can't get on the website I lose more interest. Not to mention once you start just breeding 65000 dollar snakes and selling them... it gets a little redundant.

I am ignoring the money side of it as long as I can buy more tank space as needed.

Trying to get the quality of everything as high as I can but its slow going - still haven't quite managed to burst through the 400 mark. :(

Still only level 23 though so I suppose I have time - can't wait to make top notch axanthic killer bees. :banana:

That's what I'm doing now - dumping the lower quality animals and buying higher quality pairs on the market to improve my stock. I've got high 300's axanthics and snows now - I'm having to build my pieds up myself, because no one seems to be selling them. Then there are the outrageous prices of 10M or more for some snakes.

Well that's the plan but still mainly doing the axanthics at the moment too.

Slow going though. :(

At this point, what you sell them for doesn't change your level - only breeding them does. I've set my limit at 300 snakes, which can still be a bit unmanageable.

My strategy is generally to sell off the lower quality animals out of each breeding through the snake room to free up room to breed my higher quality animals. I generally sell all but 8 pairs of each through that method and start breeding one or two pairs of each kind until I'm full again, and sell off just bred ("not ready") animals, because their offspring will generally be higher quality than they are, through the snake room.

Then I usually have four or five pairs of each that I don't breed that I sell through the market. I don't usually pay attention to what others are doing - I sell for about 10 to 20 percent more than the value.

And then I forget about them until the eggs hatch and are ready to breed and then I generally sell any that haven't sold in the market through the snake room.

That's just how I do it. Before I breed again, I do skim through the market to see if there are any higher quality animals than what I have, even if it's in the 200's, but higher than what I have.

One trick on the market - if you're fast enough - enter prices on five consecutive snakes and quickly hit the market button for each one. You can get five or six up on the market at the same time instead of one at a time.

Someone just put a piebald up for sale for free. I didn't even look to see who's it was i just took it within the second I saw it. And I am not exaggerating. WOOOOOP! lol. If that was any of yours I am sorry, but it was way to good of a deal to miss up on. lol.:oops:

Lol... when I first started I went to the market and there was a ready to breed pair of ANXs for $100 each.... don't know who they put them up there for but they were mine mine mine.

Sometimes people give their friends snakes they dont need and the best way to do that is to put them on the market for free, my friends have done this, and I think that was my pied you took! lol Its all good ive got my own now!

question.. has anyone hatched a clown or het clown or a cinnie or black pastel or ghosts? I just keep seeing pastels, lemon pastels, pieds, spiders, axan, yellowbelly's... are the choices just limited to these choices?

this is really addicting...
of course, i don't know much about ball python morphs, so i'm just guessing with pairings, and hoping i get something interesting... learning a bit from it, though...
so far, at level 22, i'm making the most money from my piebald super lemons. not using the market much, it takes too long to list each one individually, and i'm making plenty as it is just selling them normally...

Alright .. so things are going better for me now. I am starting to get less bugs .. and it's making it more fun. I have to comment on the 20mil snakes though ... when I am looking to introduce a new morph .. I look for the best quality and pay whatever the person is asking. It kinda blows for a little while, but when you start seeing the quality snake you get to sell off ... I forget how ripped off I felt and look at all the monies.

Also, are their certain morphs that are real performers for you guys? Like, I consistantly get 20-25 egg clutches (I know .. that is a HUGE BP Clutch .. but the game allows it) with my Axanthics, but with my Pieds i get maybe 10-12 .. if I am lucky.

Anyone else?

I have only axanthics in the game but i get around 40 eggs a pair.

The little tag thing that you can put in sigs or whatever it's called... it won't update my level and it shows 35 or something instead of level 43.:(

its saying the site is forbidden now earlier it was just saying that they had the max people connected they need to fix this i was getting close to a level 10 where i could breed morphs

I just get the "This site has been suspended." message for both the game and the forum. :(

If I had to guess I'd say they either exceeded bandwidth or similar.

Hope it comes back soon - I only just discovered that apparently the animals can die if you don't log in in a 14 day period. Why would anyone put that in the game? It's not like we can feed them or anything so our only interaction is breeding - the lack of which is hardly fatal. :confused::weirdface

me too. i was almost a level 30. i hope it comes back. i'm actually getting a little bored with it. If it had more morphs, I think I could play it longer. I might quit at level 30, or as soon as I get a bumblebee.

You're almost level 30 and you haven't made a bumblebee yet?

Level 30 lets you do triple combos. I've had bees and killer bees since Level 21

i was at level 21 making pied spiders albino spider albino pieds and all sorts of double ressessive double co-dom traits now i cant even get one at all last nite it was tellin me to many open connections now its just all check your conection well if my connection is bad then how am i on here typing this up. does anyone have any info on what happeend
