:rolleyes: Anticipating Football season is the only thing that gets me through the off season! Without football I would shrivel up and die!

I highly doubt greenbay will release him.... why would they want to take the chance of him playing against them, or why would they want to give another team the chance to get a mvp quaterback. i just dont see it happening. As a big farve fan it would be awesome to see him play again on any team.

The only way he would leave is if the organization and Favre can agree on a team to be traded to...

Well that interview was kinda weak :weirdface...I was expecting a lot more drama...maybe answers on what was going to happen...he didnt tell us any really new...just kind of cleared things up...the reporter just needs to ask him, "Brett if you were traded, what team would you want to be traded to?" ...now I suppose that prolly wouldnt sit well with Packer fans... :P

I'll be honest, I would hate to see him leave the packers, but if they aren't gonna let him play they need to release him and move on. He is anything but 2nd string. I would rather see him play for another team than to not play at all.

I want to see him to be the packers starter or to be beating the crap out of them next year. They need to do the right thing and release him.

If they have him under contract they are not going to just release him, they are going to want a trade so they can get something for him. Football may be a game to us but it is big business and a contract is a contract. I have always enjoyed watching Farve play but I think he went about this all wrong. He has been flip flopping for years. Either play or retire, dont string along a professional sports franchise who has to make many many decisions when he only has one.

...this is why I blame the Packers organization and not Favre...:colbert:

Favre is notorious for this flip flop....but this season he carried it a step further by retiring...but the Packers organization put him on the reserved retirement list so it wouldnt hurt their salary cap...which left the door open for Brett to do this...

...the organization should have just taken the hit and paid him out so that this wouldnt have happened...because nobody would say Brett retired 'for good'....so I think it was kind of naive on the organization to think Brett wouldnt have second thoughts...:gj:

...so you are right...it is a business, and the Packer organization was trying to save some pennies, but they were doing it by putting Brett Favre on the reserved retirement list...he is the LAST player you wanna do that too...ha! :salute:

..I guarantee you Ted Thompson is wishing he would have paid him in March.

I think farve should "retire" then find another team...if thats legal.
