I know I would be. My fiance is insisting we get an incubator with a glass front so I won't be opening the door every half hour looking in on the eggs. Also, I could totally set up camp in front of a glass door incubator. Just give me cheese puffs and rootbeer and I'm good to go for the entire incubation period.

You could also get the webcam and see when the get out of the egg ;)

*smacks forehead* I totally forgot my fiance got me a webcam with nightvision, motion detection, and audio! I can set that up in the incubator and set up camp at my computer and watch the video feed.

How would you upload the video to the internet when its live video feed like that? I've seen other peoples webcams in their incubators but I wouldn't have a clue how to do it myself. But if I figure it out, I will definatly have that video up and going. :) I got to watch green tree pythons hatch before.

It depends, some webcams have a 'wizard' to set up and support live feeds, others you have to program and pay for your own site.

I'm there's a website out there that allows you post your feed for free, but I'd have to spend some time looking for you when I get home :)

You have no idea. I'm about to say I screwed up the days, but all my records are clear on the shed date for her and I've counted the days for her gestation period, lets say, about 100 TIMES! She must just be one of those odd balls that don't want to follow tradition, which leaves me still wondering why she woulda dropped her waxy stool....or if that even was her waxy stool...but I'm sure it was...maybe. See!? I'm going crazy...

I sure feel for the poor thing. I went overdue with 3 out of 4 of my pregnancies and boy it's not a fun thing to do at all! I think I had that same mean as heck look on my face that your poor snake has in that one photo LOL.

I guess you can't haul her off to walk up and down hills or go throw darts at the local pub to get things moving along. :D

Yep, definitely fingers crossed! What exactly is it about rain that makes them give birth? The atmospheric changes?

The rise in barometric (sp?) pressure gives them the instinct to give birth. Most likely related to the rain washing away the birth scent so predators don't find the birthing place as easily.
