MKR keeps getting better and better everyday.
I wonder how many other people they have sold a snake to for more then it's worth and have lied to in the process....
Nope, they will never get a penny from me.

And Red, great debate but just didn't feel like keeping it going. Wes had the perfect opportunity to prove his claims and didn't do it. Personally I think this thread should go to the BOI... give MKR all the bad publicity it can get.

Haha. I'm glad it stopped. All these long posts hurt my eyes. I must say I'm a bit disappointed that Wes didn't find it necessary to answer any of the questions. The only reason I ever defended them is that, although Joe's business practices are far from respectable, I thought it was a bit much for everyone to be so quick in saying that they lie about the genetics of their animals. From what I gathered from Wes's post they are actually genetic, but he doesn't even know the genetics of it. He should definately have held off on selling any if that is the case.

Doesn't matter. I'm quite sure that Adam spoke with your mother before agreeing to ship a snake to you, since you are a minor.

By making the sale he was entering into a contract (at least in my basic understanding of law). I would never make a sale to a minor without speaking to his/her parents. There is too much room for bad things to happen. Reputations being compromised or animals paying the price.

It is the seller's responsibility. There is a reason they are called minors.

Wes is COMPLETELY at fault. He NEVER should have sold that snake unless he went thru the parents.

You DO NOT sell to minors. Period.

It's surprising how few breeders actually check the age of who they are selling to. Lord knows how much money I've spent over the last few years with various different breeders, and I have yet to have anyone check my age. I'm technically still not old enough to make the purchases myself.

They knew that I was 14. It is good to let the breeder know that you are underage IMO.

He is shipping a package for me next week. Most likely Monday afternoon for Tuesday delivery. I will be calling him tomorrow to confirm. Since he is already shipping one box, he could probably ship yours at the same time.

Hi, a few days ago i posted in this thread that a freind told me about MKR contacting him wanting to buy Majoves and other morphs to fill there orders.A few minutes after i posted that i was told to shut my mouth thru a email from someone else that is collecting evidence against MKR in order to shut them down for good.I thank Smulkin for deleting that post for me.My reason for making this post is,the freind has now posted the exact words i posted here on Faunaclassifieds.I will admit i did tell a lie sorta when i said it was a breeder freind who told me he was contacted by MKR.The reason for doing this was just incase MKR found out they would never be able to figure out who my freind was.If you think about it i never mentioned what type of reptiles my freind breeds.Just incase anyone questions about whether or not i am telling the truth here i pm Judy(JLC) my freinds name and she can now confirm this it was Bobby Hill (AKA VARNYARD).I wonder if Joe or Wes will reply:rolleyes: .I ask everyone to not get into anymore heated arguments here when it comes to this thread. If you want to post anything or just for your own readings go to faunaclassifieds and add to that thread.

    Andre,

Since your so unhappy with your het for yellow blush albino male.
Also since shipping is a problem for you I will just refund your $500.00
and let you keep your snake. This can be a lesson for all businesses
when dealing with children contact the parents and make sure it's alright for them to buy.
Now just so everyone knows Andre has asked me to loan him $2000.00 to start a web business and has asked me to send him money for adult breeder females.
Never once did he say anything about doubting the yellow blush project during any of our conversations.

Tomorrow we are filming a show with about 150 + Snakes hets and visual morphs forsale it's going to be a good time. :sabduel:

That is GREAT to hear Andre! Now please invest in some research before running out and buying a snake from the first "good breeder" you run into. I'd HIGHLY recommend asking all your questions about breeders & genetics on this forum because we have some outstanding people who breed on here who have the love and passion for these snakes and for breeding only the best too. Take Adam (8ball) for prime example! I knoe many people on here will know the proper information for your questions, and also be more then willing to help you get off on the right foot with starting up a good collection of Ball Pythons.

Like Joe said, this place is like a second family to a lot of us.
None of us want to see or read people getting burned or scammed.

I'm very very happy that this worked out like it did in the end, and please let this be a lesson learned because you could have been really out of a few hundred dollars.

You don't know many breeders that would sell a kid a snake without consulting his parents, mislead them on the genetics and then give a refund to do damage control? I would hope not.

as far as contacting the parents you are all right. that should of been done.

when it comes to genitics i feal both parties are at fault. wes for not explaining it completely and the kid for not doing all his home work.

the refund may be damage control, but most people do not offer to give you another het for free or let you keep the snake with a full refund. this is the only point i was trying to make!

imo, andre needs to re-think who he goes into business with and as a minor... remember that his parents would be responsible for any moneys lost.

It's called damage control, this is on another big forum and will hurt their business. Whats $500 out of their pocket when they want to sell a million in 20 days.
