Re: !boa bonanza!
Introduced this girl to her under-shelf sky hide shortly before she went into shed and it seems to be her new favorite place. Very concealed hunting grounds should make for an exciting feeding night tomorrow or the next day

Lovely additions to this thread!
BCAs and longicauda are looking lovely, Richard. I know some people who are very envious of that clean, gold-and-silver pigmentation in the Stöckl-line longicauda in the States.

Me, for one! Though I'm not actually in the market for one, I think they're drop-dead gorgeous!

Re: !boa bonanza!
Thanks wrongPython, yes the stockl line of longicauda is awsome.
But there still very variable in colour and markings
Your kuzco is looking great tho, as you know the longicauda are almost like ugly ducklings that get better with age, so you never really know what your getting when you first get them, either way there an awsome boa

In retrospect I perhaps should have titled this thread "!Richard Brings the HEAT!" haha! I always forget how many badass localities, morphs, subspecies, etc you've got at your place, mate. Keep 'em coming!

Thank you Gio
Yes you don't see the corn island boas much, there a true dwarf species with female rarely reaching 5ft and males under 4ft very arboreal too

Re: !boa bonanza!
Wow!! There are some Awesome Boas posted up in this thread!!
Here's Cheyenne when someone goes in the snake room,
She's a calm and curious snake, unless it's feeding time then lookout.
She's just a standard B.I. Boa as far as I know

Not much to update here. Both boas using all afforded space in their enclosures. Nearly got nailed on the third picture opening the doors to minimize glare [emoji23]

It's been a very nice night hanging with the snakes. Both of the boas were very happy for some outside time and were quite snuggly. Got a cute little periscope from Adelita when I left the door open for her to make her own way out.

Gomez is putting on some size this year.

Barranquilla, Colombian Boa.
I think this is Sniper's first go on the rail in 2021.
He's lean and tall as can be.

He's a bit darker in his older age (9 on the 27th or 28th) but he still looks great.

Gomez, Sniper, and Mirabelle are looking great! Gotta admit, they're making me consider getting a full-sized boa one of these days.

This is a good thread and definitely a thread that anybody on the fence about a boa should read through.
There are so many great examples of different locales and morphs here.
Something for everyone when you look at everything.
