Hey Dawn, let me know when I have pulled ya out enough, this fork lift was not made to be driven by short ppl!

Christie, you notice none of our enemies have chimed in for awhile? Maybe the war is over, maybe we have won? Maybe they retreated in fear of our wrath.

As soon as Dawn is back safe (remember we leave no woman, drink mixer nor calorie filled snack behind!) we need a strategy session ladies & Eddie. Well aboard Dawn! Glad to have you! Someone pass the lady a drink and a ho ho!

It's come to my attention that we have an option in our Snoball artillery. On a recent and highly covert trip to the local Shop 'n Save I noted a choice of either classic white Snoball or a quite lovely pink Snoball. Now not having done any serious study of same (other than they were both quite yummy!) we need a vote on this. Should we stay with the classic albeit old fashioned white or take a giant stride forward in modern snack warfare and boldy go with the pink!

Also since we are all voting, I think PFC Drinks Mixer Eddie really does deserve a promotion to say Specialist Eddie, Alchol Blending Battalion (hoooooraahhh???? *hic*)

Thanks for the quick save ladies. Thanks for the drink Eddie. I vote we use both, it's always good to start with a show of force.

BTW, what is the record for # of posts???

I vote we use both too, however, today at the local Schwebels, I found red and green snowballs to add to our growing menagerie of ammunition. So looks like we are going high tech all the way around.

As far as a record for # of posts, you know I was thinking about looking into that, cause man, this one is going and going and going..like the energizer bunny!

Yes, I agree that the more variation in snoballs the greater the confusion and chaos they will create. Dang, we need those twinkies tho.

I love this thread. I am having waaayyy too much fun with it, so I'll nurse this baby until it croaks!

I have been looking through different threads, not all but some. So far the biggest one I have seen is "Pictures of Us" in Off Topic w/203 posts, LOL

Rice crispie squares? I second Eddie's promotion, loyalty should always be rewarded.

WOW, LADIES! I'm impressed with the motley assortment of snowball variations! I think I remember some halloween colored ones at one point in my childhood....

The bright side of this thread is that it has been such lighthearted fun! Granted the ladies seem to be enjoying it way more than our poor, male, losing counterparts! (except for our ever loyal Eddie, and yes, you are indeed the best and only drinkmixer for us!)

I am SO blessed to be able to house myself with several lovely females! Believe me, if my actual job were like this, work would be a pleasure to attend each & every day!! I love my ladies & I stand in their protection sternly!

Holy Armored Snack Cakes, Cookie Man!

A girl goes down with bronchitis and misses all the spongy cream-filled fun. Is it too late to join the ranks? I offer my experience of building various vegetable launching machinery, that can be quickly alterd for the purpose of sending explosive snack cakes toward the enemy. I also make a mean margarita.

Get in here Sass! Any friend of a margarita is a friend of mine! (Can you make appletini's too?)

I wonder ladies (and Eddie) if we are like some sort of lost troops thing...the war is over and no one told us! We could be here for years....hiding out in the plastic spaceship and the clifford house....munching on snack cakes...permanently "happy" from Eddie's devoted service to the cause....WAIT...I personally am not seeing much of a problem with this scenerio!!

As long as my dear husband Micheal remembers to mow the yard around us we shall probably be able to hold position. Please do not consider him a combatant, if you fire pink snoballs at him he's likely to refuse to do yard chores (those men will use any excuse to avoid the lawnmower!).

My only concern is the awful Michigan winter. Someone quick do a study on the insulating properties of marshmallow!

I was wondering too if the war was over and no one told us, cause we have not heard from our enemies in a long time. Being here for years is fine with me, at least it will be fun!

We wont fire at Micheal.... we need his service. M-I-C-H-E-A-L.. is that a misspell, cause oddly, thats EXACTLY how I chose to spell my sons name rather than the traditional way and this would be the only time I have ever seen it spelled that way. LOL My sons school thought I was mispelling it, had to bring in his birth certificate to prove I chose to spell it that way, recently, my daughter got one of her reports marked for spelling her brothers name like that, once again, had to send in a copy of the BC to get it straightened out for her too.

Also, I can tell ya this, marshmellows would insulate us just great! Can ya radio to one of the girls to start stocking piling marshmellows so we may build some insulation from this winter before it hits?

Dawn, much recovered from twinkie OD, and fairly numb from a few mudslides starts melting together a marshmellow brick wall with her soldering iron. ;)

See what the stress of longtime warfare does!!!! I mis-spelled my own husband's name....arrrrrrrrrrgh! Both my husband, his father, and our son are all named Michael...you'd think I could spell it right by now LMAO

I'm blaming Eddie and his excellent liquid fortifications!

Appletinis, watermelon margaritas, and a number of other fruity takes on our favorite beverages.

Yes yes...maybe it is over, and it was a plan to get us to hold ourselves up in an effort to be rid of us and our snake cake bombing ways. Or...it isnt over, and they are planning something else. Like maybe they are baking the worlds largest twinkie...and they are going to drop it on our Clifford house, Witch style. hhhmmm....

Jeanne I so understand about misspelling of names! I argued and argued with my 7th grade science teacher because she refused to call me Christie, always Christine. Grrrrrrr. Like I don't know my own name?!!?!?! How frustrating.

Good work Dawn on getting the insulation started. Not only will we be nice an snuggly, but oh so colorful as well. Going on a recon mission to stake out more colorful snowballs later this week.

When the snows get too bad, we can always start the negotiations for a cease fire....the Hostess Convention? We'll worry about that when the drinks stop flowing! :D

Sass you referred to them as "snake cakes" NOT "snack cakes"....the hilarious thing part is I constantly have had to watch that same typo while in this crazy thread too!

Did you want to drive to the Snakes Anonomous (sp) support group this week dear or shall I?

    ~~Joanna~~

P.S. Maybe I actually mistook your meaning Sass. Are you proposing we lob those silly snake sausage thingies at the enemy? :P

Bahahhaha....forgive me. I'm on too many medications to care! LOL

But yanno...those sausage thingies just might work! They probably have better launch potential. ;)

I just have to pipe up....no snake sausages! :bleh: I would prefer to use ammo that is edible in case that hard winter sets in early! And with like 8 women smushed in here, there not too much storage room. Did I miss anything? I think I must have slipped into a sugar and alcohol stupor, but I'm ready for action again! :D

There are few things more heinous than cheapy imposter snack cakes, I concur wholeheartedly!

Anyoen have a snack machine at work that has those 2 megaton donuts? The delicious ones with insane amounts of fts and carbs that send you into a deep post-snack coma?

I'll have to run up and peek at the brand.

you wanna know something about me - i've never tried a twinkie, ding dong... none of those snack type cakes. i'm about to turn 43 years old... and never had one.

:P so when i hear people talk about them... they seem more like a "statement" than a real snack food. (but then are they real or completely processed?)
