He was at 60g a week after I bought him (didn't think to weigh him when I first got him). It took me another week to figure out what he'll take, so far I've had 3 consistent feedings with him and been doing it once every few days.

I hope you found some information in this thread that was helpful to you. :) I apologize that most of the picture links appear to have gone dormant. If you didn't find anything helpful in Buggsie's thread, you're still in the right place! Most of the members here on BP.net are very helpful and I wouldn't have been able to help Buggsie without them.

Hard to tell in the pics, but did Buggsie have loose skin before she put on some weight? Seeing that with my own and not sure if it's just due to lack of weight or something else I need to worry about.

Also, I second Rikoku. How is Buggsie doing?

Buggsie is in shed right now, so looking super dark. It's just the beginning stages, so pink belly but her eyes aren't grayed out yet. We took a quick pic of her while checking tubs tonight to give you guys a visual, but have talked about doing another video for her post-shed. 😊 Day 157 - you can see she's turning into a nice little chunk of snake. July weigh day she came in at 402 and is still gaining steadily. We expect her to reach 500 before September, when we think she'll have her birthday.

As for a loose skin look, I think the first week could be attributed to shed, or dehydration. we keep close track of weights and while there are ups and downs we haven't had a loss over 10%. She was a lot like an under stuffed sausage back then.

She still has white on her neck, but it's no longer skin - all scale! She's kept growing one here and one there with each shed. Some are starting to darken up now, but most are still white. A snake version of scarring? It seems they are slowing filling in color so it might be completely indistinguishable in the future.
