Ahhh... I am sorry but I can't help myself.....
All is IMO
I didn't vote for Bush because I have seen his work.
And thanks Pro-Choice
Hopefully Roe v. Wade will always stand
With that being said then I find no problem using the aborted fetuses for research, hopefully one could save many, of course that is IMO.
We as a people don't mind using and abusing and killing prefectly healthy, LIVING animals in the name of research.
Of course again it's just IMO.

Yech, this is getting to be a pretty interesting thread!
I cannot say I am completely against abortion. Thee are cases where a woman has been impregnated against her will by someone she would never willingly sleep with, for example. Then there's the issue of the very young girls who become pregnant, say, while under the influence of a drug that they inadvertantly drank after it was snuck into their beverage. It's true that if a female (whether she's human or animal) gets pregnant too early, it will have lifelong negative effects on her body. As an example, lab rats that are bred too early will never grow as large and healthy as those females who were bred after they reached adult size. So if, for example, someone is impregnated against their will, I think they should have the right to abort. I can really see nothing good for anyone involved if this right is taken away.
But I am totally against people using abortion as an "easy way out." Any woman who is actively having sex, should either expect to get preggo, or be taking measures to prevent this such as taking the pill. Abortions should never be considered a way to back out of a pregnancy that was caused by your own negligence.
The frightening thing to me is, that all the decisions regarding abortion are going to be made by men, who will Never, Never know what it is like to be pregnant. Personally, I have been pregnant in the past, though I had a miscarriage, but I was prepared to raise the child myself before this happened.
I'd fear also that if abortion were made illegal, girls would be going to unsanitary doctors who would perform illegal abortions in unsanitary conditions, and this could not be good in any way. it's been proven throughout our country's history that making things illegal does not stop them from taking place; rather, they take place in shadier, dirtier, and crime-causing conditions instead.
