    Welcome to the forum.

Good on you for saving the little guy. No judgment here on enclosure. Sounds like you have it handled. He appreciates it I would imagine.

Thanks for the welcome! Plop is doing great now, almost 600 grams and eating like a champ. He is my big baby.

I think it's so funny that he slobbered all over it first, like what was he thinking? Lol I love sharing.

Yeah, after saving him my pet store stepped up their game and the BPs that are left are looking great! :) not fully back up, but they look much better than they did, and all of them are shedding.

So I cleaned out my Crested gecko tank, and redid the substrate, and I had extra, so I put it into Plop's tub. He loves it! I even decorated :3
    What do y'all think?

And if course, no more than fifteen minutes later I look over to check on him, and he's pooping... :/ really? You couldn't have done that when I had you on papertowel? Lol

I like to think he looks very proud of himself... brat. Lol

I've had that happen more than twice;) Did a complete scrub down and replaced everything. Walked in 10 mins later and cleaned again. Haha

good job Gizmo. Yes, newcomers are frequently jumped on by the self proclaimed experts on this and every other forum. I'd say this forum is one of the more friendly ones to the newbies. I feel that helping newcomers to our hobby is the most important function of the forums and wish people would not blast newbies. After all, their presence on the forum indicates a desire to learn. everyone of us was a newbie once upon a time and undoubtedly some of those doing the blasting once made the same mistakes they now consider to be an outrage.

experienced keepers, please be kind to newbies and give them the knowledge and guidance they need.

Great job with the rescue and I think he is looking great. He's in good hands now and he even looks like he appreciates the care that he has been given. Keep it up and don't stress yourself about the little guy. They do need some basic requirements - heat, humidity and feeding (these can be hard to get right, at times) but they are fairly hardy too. A little bit of attention will go a long way to you having and keeping a healthy, happy ball python. They are a great pet.
