    Update:

Weather still pretty humid. But it was humid earlier this summer and had no effect.
Woke up this morning with her pressed up against the side of the tub not in her hide. Humidity read "HI" (usually only happens when she goes to the bathroom). Checked it out and it looked like a piece of newspaper fell in the bowl and got soaked. I added more newspaper and placed her in her hide.

I feel bad for her. :( I'm leaving for school in a couple days and the stress of the 10 hours drive will only make things worse I think. I just hope it's not the weather causing this since I have no control over it, but at least it would mean my husbandry was correct for the most part.

How did today go? Are you trying the crumpled newspaper? And covering the tub with a towel too? That combination worked instantly for our BP, and when I removed the towel a day or so later with just the crumpled newspaper, all remained well.

I sure hope things calm down over there. It's very frazzling/upsetting when you know something is bothering your little BP but you have no clue what.

Solid advice here! Sounds like she may be hitting snake puberty based on her age as well.

So, there's a window near her tub that I never used to open becuase it was right over our sun roof. I thought hot air would heat up the tub too much. But I opened it today and it worked wonders. Humidity is a perfect 55% and I can turn the tstat down (saving the planet yay!).

The newspaper trick is also working. :gj: :D

Well, she won't be sneaking out of her tub to see any boys tonight!
The Hannah Montana blasting from the tub is getting annoying, though. :(

LOL!!! At least she's not into EMO.:rofl:
Seriously, she is at the age that she will notice males, and if the weight ain't there... it'd be like a teen pregnancy. Her pee has pheromones in it. So, watch the lit'l vixen, she may try to tease those boys.

How is Wes doing now? The change in Patriot since putting crumpled newspaper into the tank is unbelieveable, and that was only 2 weeks ago. Not only has the roaming stopped, but when I lift off the hide and pick her up, she doesn't S-neck so much or breathe as frantically as before. She seems more all-around comfortable now, and is certainly more relaxed when we hold her.

I hope things improve quickly over at your end.

Today begins my 500 mile journey down to school, so things are going to be a little hectic today for her.

I'll make sure to update in a couple of days once I'm moved in.
